    I moved into Camelot at La Mer Parlin NJ Residents by Kaplan Properties & Development the first time in 2008. I've lived on Kelly St and two different residences on Overhill. It was a very desirable neighborhood. The maintenance team is still excellent (except for the guy who was too busy to report the car fire I discovered while walking my dog) Dog poop, black mold, endless petty theft, Amazon packages regularly stolen, very expensive, no parking, over 50 police interactions in the past 8 months, cops at my door at midnight who don't know the difference between toys and military munitions, threats & harassment from an unrelated homeowners association, 7 threats of violence from neighbors (including a local politicians son) recorded on video, police dash and body cams in the past 12 months, missing $10k from my house, at least two break ins (my dog let's you in, doesn't let you out), abandoned non mobile cars on every street, garbage everywhere, mandatory amenities fees for unavailable amenities, unpaid rental referrals (they never pay, the signs by the rental office are nonsense) and a municipal government that can't handle the basics. Oh, and one outright assassination.

    Dog crap EVERYWHERE. Large breeds like Rotweilers and Pitbulls. Potholes EVERYWHERE. The gym is never cleaned or maintained. Now shootings and murders. All for $2000+ a month. What a bargain!

    This place is a true pig with lipstick on.Everything looks great from the outside but trust me once you live here you will know. Lots of crime and other quality of life issues that management turns a blind eye too. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!

    Sabrina in the rental office has been extremely helpful and patient with me. Eventually helping find me the perfect townhouse apartment for me and my family. She answered all my calls promptly and was very understanding. I think Im going to love living here!!
