    I lived in the double balcony apartment on the 30th floor. Apartment 30c for almost 2 years. Nice view of the city. Great building staff but property management is horrible, specifically Danira. Jaye is great at customer service but acts like she is not aware of anything and has to defer to management for everything. They are unprofessional and do not treat people with kindness. Also the building had roaches, many of them that would not go away, even with treatment. Other than that I enjoyed living downtown newark and having a phenomenal view. Try other buildings in the area. Heard they are nicer inside. Lastly frequent elevator outings and fire alarm malfunctions. Imagine being on the 30th floor with a fire alarm malfunction, after 9/11.

    Eleven80 is an absolute pleasure to live in. When I first moved to Newark, I was pretty nervous, but this place is truly wonderful and I don't regret it at all! The building is kept pristine, and it's full of character from the 1930s. The amenities are wonderful, as well; the gym is clean and well-appointed with fitness machines that can play netflix, hulu, pandora--whatever you need. There are fitness classes, and a sauna/steam room as well as a fun bowling alley and half-court for basketball--and much more! The apartments themselves are clean, quiet, well-kept, updated, and very comfortable. I haven't seen so much as an ant since I've been here. I've lived here for almost two years now, and I can say that it is, bar none, the best apartment experience I've ever had. Maintenance is kind, responsive, helpful, and lightning fast. The staff in the lobby (Ralph, Hurst, Phil, Davon, and Shekinah) are literally too amazing for words. They know everyone, they always say hello, and they're always ready to help you with whatever you need. The office staff, Anne and Darla, are also just as helpful, friendly, and responsive to any questions you may have. To a man and woman, every person I've interacted with who works for Eleven80 is consummately professional, and a pleasure to talk to. The building handled, and continues to handle, COVID-19 extremely well, and I've always felt safe here. The location is in a part of Newark that is up-and-coming, and is crazy close to Penn Station--though there's a nightly shuttle back and forth to the building if you don't want to walk! I've used it a ton, and it's only a phone call away whenever you need it. If you're looking for a place to live in Newark, Eleven80 has GOT to be your choice.

    I have lived in Eleven80 for about 3 years. I moved away after year 1, in an attempt to save money- not worth it. I quickly found myself moving back here and have stayed for another 2 years. Im currently leaving at the end of my lease this fall (Oct 2019). So my amazing unit will be available it youre looking! The privacy is amazing! Because the original building was built in the 30s, but renovated in the 2000s the walls are THICK almost noise impenetrable. The staff at the building are AMAZING! Demetrice, Hurst, Shekinah, and Ralph always say hi to you in the mornings and evenings they know you by name and are always helpful. In addition you never have to worry about a lost package or issues with grocery delivery as the front desk/concierge handles everything. Pablo, Ann, and Pamela are fantastic in how they treat residents. They have annul parties a couple times a year and frequently have resident appreciation breakfasts. The Halloween Party is the best! They respond to repairs/maintenance request either same day or in 24hrs. The neighborhood is a great place to live! If the location in Newark (so close to Penn) is something giving you pause I can assure you the area is safe and the building has security, etc in the evenings. There are plenty of places to eat out (bars, burgers, pizzas, etc). There is the Whole Foods at the end of a beautiful Military park. Youre right down the street from NJ PAC -its been invaluable. I go to Whole Foods for emergency food I go to NJ PAC for the comedy shows, and Harry Potter, Star Wars and other films shown with the score done by NJ Symphony -its been fantastic!
