The Current on River

If you're a light sleeper or bothered by noise at all, avoid this apartment complex. Excess street noise is a problem for exterior-facing apartments, while noisy cars in the garage are a problem for interior-facing apartments. The building is wood construction above the first two floors and is poorly insulated. You can hear music and excess noise from neighboring apartments. The quality of tenants has declined sharply over the last year. Management is kind but demonstrably ineffective at enforcing the quiet enjoyment clause in their lease. One plus is maintenance is great and effective at fixing problems, but that doesn't outweigh the issues I've had with this building. There are tons of new apartment complexes that are being built or are already available in Hackensack. Do your research.

Looking for a new start

The apartments were very nice and clean. The amenities were beautiful and the leasing agent Nicole was very kind and helpful. As we walked through the hallway, residents were stating that we would love it there.
