Do not move here if you enjoy sleep, peace, or silence . The tenants do not have a concept of controlling noise levels. One of many worries is children screaming at the top of their lungs and banging on the walls. Some tenants think it's acceptable to blast heavy base music in the parking lots from there vehicles as if every person in a five mile radius would enjoy it. I have very little complaints about the apartments condition or the staff, but the tenants are the most self-absorbed and undisciplined bunch I'll ever have the displeasure of living next to. As a military veteran, i warn all military members not to come here because you will not get enough sleep. Save your time, energy, and money!
Laundry facilities are a joke. Laundry rooms are disguting, machines are old and some barely work. At $3 per load you would think you would get some quality and consistency.
When you do inspections, inform the resident WHO will be entering their apartment and an actual TIME OF DAY as specified in N.J.A.C 5:10-5.1-(c).
The grass sometimes get long enough to reach above ankle levels.
And when a sub pumps break and the putrid smell of stagnant water starts creeping into the apartments above, fix it within the 24 hours of the first notification that the Monmouth County Board of Health requires. Don't make the paying tenant live in that environment.
The debris and broken glass in front of 68 from apartment rehabilitation, its a hazard for children and pets.
The communication from the office staff about changes seems sporadic and short notice. I was not aware that a fitness center was being created until the opening. If the announcements are made on Facebook, then some residents will not receive them.
There seems to be an excessive amount of stray cats roaming property. They seem harmless but the numbers are growing.
Also, there are low hanging branches on the path to the parking area need to be cut and in the same area a high concentration of yellow-jackets that swam in the grass and on the back of the cars.
