I got a very impersonal email reply to my request and no one ever reached out to speak via phone. Seems on top of rent they charge their own utility fees and a monthly fee for pets as well.
The leasing office is the worst you can interact with. They do not care about getting anyone in as a potential resident. They do not answer or even acknowledge the fact that their website shows an availability.
Maintenance workers enter apartment without any notice or warning. Heat only works in the living room. Entrance and exit doors were "upgraded" but we lost our peephole and the insulation at the bottom of the doorframe wasn't installed until a month and a half later, so we wasted a lot of money on heat with the warmth escaping under the gaping crack. Apartments have air conditioning units which are nice but they are in the living room, so if you want your whole apartment cooled during the summer months expect an extra 100 bones tacked onto your electricity bill. Lots of little minor fees that get tacked onto your rent. Very unhappy here, can't wait to move.
We stayed there for around 3.5 years. if you are planning to buy a house in future this is not the right place, they have a hefty lease breakage rules. One have to give 2 months notice that too need to tell one day prior to the first day of the month, if we get the notice delayed two days or so we have to literally give them 3 months notice. Plus have to give two months of Rent even if they could get someone moved in within 10 days of moving out, our's was leased out immediately.Unlike the previous management current one's are approachable. They are doing modernization at least on the outside premises. Maintenance guys responds fast even if they have lots of work to do around. We had lots of issues with electricity inside the apartment like when we switch on the oven the entire apartment loose the electricity, if we use one particular plug point, one inside the bathrooms will loose the power supply etc. it's time to change the wiring inside the apartment, they didn't take these seriously. One good thing here is the cross ventilation on all the apartments, my family liked that.
The online pictures of the exteriors and buildings look great online, but upon pulling in, I noticed that they were in need of some TLC, there were some porches torn off - hopefully being repaired. The grounds were not very well taken care of and there were a lot of children around which might be an issue if you want quiet. Relatively close to Portsmouth downtown but across the road from Walmart.
