Maintenance workers enter apartment without any notice or warning. Heat only works in the living room. Entrance and exit doors were "upgraded" but we lost our peephole and the insulation at the bottom of the doorframe wasn't installed until a month and a half later, so we wasted a lot of money on heat with the warmth escaping under the gaping crack. Apartments have air conditioning units which are nice but they are in the living room, so if you want your whole apartment cooled during the summer months expect an extra 100 bones tacked onto your electricity bill. Lots of little minor fees that get tacked onto your rent. Very unhappy here, can't wait to move.
The online pictures of the exteriors and buildings look great online, but upon pulling in, I noticed that they were in need of some TLC, there were some porches torn off - hopefully being repaired. The grounds were not very well taken care of and there were a lot of children around which might be an issue if you want quiet. Relatively close to Portsmouth downtown but across the road from Walmart.
This complex has been the worst decision we have ever made. They treat their residents poorly, increase rent with no updates, and do not care for the grounds and roads. Not to mention the actual quality of the living arrangements are awful. The expenses pile up after you sign the lease, and the charges are through the roof. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!
The staff from the office, to the maintenance crew are AMAZING! Anything issues I have (sink clogged, etc), they address the problem immediately. They let you know they have been onsite, they are respectful of your home and if you are there, they are super polite! The roads, sidewalks are well taken care of. The convenience of onsite trash is a wonderful feature. Resident 2 years Jan 2017 and we will be signing up for another year.
Took a year to fix a heating issue that produced loud banging which shook our ceiling and walls every night.
