High Rock 5300 is a fantastic place to live! My husband and I have lived here for three years and we do not plan on moving. The management and maintenance team are professional, friendly and an asset to the property owner. This complex is surrounded by several hiking trails, beautiful rocky cliffs and mature landscaping with manicured lawns. High Rock 5300 apartments are very well constructed and insulated. Crown molding is an added addition, as well as two huge walk-in closets and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. My husband and I are very impressed and very content living at this property. As much as I hate leaving a bad review, I'm addressing this for future tenants. They charge outrageous fees ($150 worth of utilities for 1 person, on top of rent), inconsiderate management and regardless of your phone carrier theres no phone service in case of emergencies! Ive lived here for 2 years and towards the end did a sublease. Its pretty mind-boggling that this property and management, whos been running this for who knows how long, not know that if a new tenant lives there they should automatically disable everything from the previous owner, but based from my experience this wasnt the case. Ive moved and its been THREE whole months yet all of a sudden Im getting debited rent from High Rock . I give them a call and they come to tell me that this is my responsibility to disable but when I tried to do so prior to moving, I wasnt even allowed to log in to their online portal. I called the third party payment processors- ZEGO and they straight up told me that High Rocks management should be able to disable my account, but chose not to. Renos skyrocketing prices is already hard enough to get by, plus this inconsiderate management doesnt help at all.

If you want to be charged extra made up fees every month, this is the place to be. Office staff is so incompetent that after 6 months of being here they are now asking about my " unauthorized pet" even though I sent all medical history and paid fees for it when I fist moved in. The owner goes on Google reviews and " apologizes" but nothing gets fixed. This is the second time I get charged for mistakes they make.

This is a wonderful place to live, and I believe the main reason is the office staff. The manager, Beth, and the other two young ladies, Sarah and Angie are professional, kind and thoughtful. I have recently gone through a touch patch personally, and I can not overstate how compassionate and professional they have been with me and other related parties. Great gym, rec area, pool and computer room. Extremely quiet and safe. Very close to shopping centers and the freeway. Highly recommend this complex, 5 stars is not sufficient.
