Great place to live, super quite
I have lived here for about four years, definitely not the best apartments in the world but they were affordable. New management raised rent which is ridiculous for what you get. Everything falls apart. I went into the office asking about the re-modeled units which they were less than helpful. Asked for prices and was told rudely that they could give me a guesstimate and rushed me on my way. Definitely looking for a place elsewhere in the same price range that doesnt look like a pile.
We had lived here for almost 4 years and just before reaching our 4 years the property went under new owership. Right off the bat we had extremely bad service from the "new management" we had been having issues with several things within our apartment. When calling in to the office proved to be a bad option since nothing would get resolved. We decided to go in person, I watched as the gentleman helping me was typing my request so we were given an expectation of when the issue would be checked and went on our merry way thinking it would be taken care of. But then days after their expected time came and went I went back in there and had to deal with a very uninformed "property manager" she then explained that she saw no request and proceeded to tell me I was basically a liar saying she hadn't given the said gentleman permissions to submit requests through the online system. So you're telling me he pretended to type out our request. After all of this with it just being their first month of new ownership I requested to put in my notice. She then went into retention mode which was fun to watch because she started with "I can understand how previous ownership can leave a sour taste in your mouth, but we would like a chance to show you we are here to make positive changes and do things better". I then stopped her and reminded her why I was there in the first place and that it was very much the current management that had left a sour taste in my mouth. They then they sent us a bill of $80.00 which meant they had kept our deposit. In the summary it listed things that we had been assured weren't to be charged to us for the length of time we were with them (normal wear and tear) as well as the units being remodled. In fact when we did have maintenence come see us about our issue we were told to just put up with it since we were leaving and that they didnt want to add new parts to something being "torn down" either way. I paid the amount and they still sent us to collections.
So far not good. The person I have been speaking to has already not come through with what they said and rushed me into $100 deposit to tell me 10 mins later the apartme ted rented. Hmmm so whats happening to my deposit? Supposedly another apartment maybe available but Im definitely leary at this point since non of the obligations proposed have been met in which I will detail more if my deposit gets hijacked.
I have lived here for ten years. When my lease is up I'll be gone. All these people care about is the mighty dollar. A piece of the covered parking blew off during a bad storm, going on 3 months ago. It's still sit ting in the back of our building. I told the property manager ohh!! That's right the community manager about my carpet coming up and bathrm, flr coming up 2 months ago stI'll nothing has been done, but they want that rent paid on time don't they.
