The management is great and understanding. I enjoy living at Talus Point. The only downside is that there isn't enough parking for two cars, but it is understandable of course.
Good value and a lot of space. Excellent views and hiking nearby. Good response time from maintenance. Overall a quiet area without any real issues. Some sharp things sticking out of the carpet in places. Hot water is not consistent. Property manager can be pushy at times. Minor amounts of mold.
Poor internet and cell phone reception, due to location and old building materials. Parking is very limited, each unit gets one designated space, and the few other spots in yellow are taken quickly. Two story units are overly warm upstairs (72 degrees), while kitchen and living room measure 43 degrees at the same moment. Olive oil freezes solid every winter. It's a complex for college kids that are loud, litterers, and often drunk. Pool is awesome and evens out some of the above issues.
What is a Certified Resident?
A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
Advertising properties provide a list of email addresses of its residents to Kingsley Associates, a third party market research firm, who then sends out the satisfaction survey to the residents. Properties may also conduct satisfaction surveys of its residents through other third party market research firms. In those cases, we will publish those survey responses as long as the questions conform to our standard survey format.
Because reviews are from Certified Residents, and are managed by a third party, you can feel confident that the feedback provided is accurate and trustworthy.
