When I first moved here my only real complaint was parking. However, they have changed management many times and the newest office managers are rude and incompetent. The apartments themselves are cheaply made. If USPS happens to drop off a box to the office for you, they won't let you know that it's arrived but instead will send it back if you don't pick it up within 5 days (whether or not you know it's there). I asked about why they don't notify residents of boxes being kept in the office and the manager stated, "We are not required to, if we did, it would just be a courtesy." I'm sure there are a lot of better options in Reno, than this place. We can't wait until our lease is up.
This is a bad place to be. You can hear everybody talking outside the walkway, people coming up the stairs, people arguing at the next door. Plus restvis going up $100 every year. And the new management are snobbish, rude, and doesnt know what they are doing. Dont rent here. Parking is horrible too.
Horrible parking is horrible they have no storage of you mess up on anything as simple as a 10 dollar water bill they will charge you 75 late fee. Management is horrible well.stay away.
Honestly for the apartments, I dont have any issues. My real issue having lived here the past two years has been PARKING. If you have one car for your household then you have nothing to worry about and I would recommend a place like this to live. But, if you have multiple cars or frequent visitors then thats when this becomes an issue. My roommate and I have had the biggest hassle with parking. Firstly, there are hardly any spaces available for apt guest and they fill up quick each day. So if you have a job that has you arriving home anywhere after 4:00pm then I wish you the best of luck in finding open spaces. Secondly they say that you can park in any uncovered spaces including office/future resident spaces after office hours but then put warning stickers on your car when you park there during closed hours. There has been a car parked in an apartment guest spot for around two to three months without moving and the office has not taken notice of it. There are days when I spend 15 mins after coming home from work just looking for parking until I give up and have to park elsewhere that is not even within my apartment complex, which is pretty ridiculous considering their price rates here. I should be able to at least park where I live. Its to a point where if I need to leave my apartment, I wont do it if it is after a certain time because I dont want to lose a spot I have and chance having to park in Timbuktu.
This really didnt review much about the apartment itself, but had I known parking at HOME was going to be the most frustrating part of my day I would not have chosen to live here.
Edgewater was an alright place to live. They're very strict on who is allowed at the pool and there is absolutely no parking after 3 pm. after 5 pm good luck parking anywhere near the complex. theyrre pretty fast when it comes to fixing things.
