My husband and I have 20 years experience in residential property management and know quality performance. The office and maintenance staff are responsive to all needs and requests and resolve any issues very quickly. Everyone is always friendly and upbeat. We really enjoy our home here.

The pre-deposit list is amazing. Management staff was more than helpful, got us exactly what we needed, and has been responsive to all questions and issues that come up. We have new appliances (once the old ones go out/don't work, they DO replace them), new carpeting, and live in a quiet, tucked away community where I don't have to worry about my car being broken into, loud parties/noise all the time, or lots of other issues.

No granite counter tops, perfectly level hardwood floors, soft closing drawers/cabinets, and spotless cleaning when we moved in, but it's PERFECT for the price point. I would encourage anyone who wants to rent for 1-3 years or even more to look into this place. It can save you a bunch of money compared to Reno's other rental units as you save a down payment on a home or simply drive a nicer car, have a bigger TV, go on more vacations, or whatever you desire to spend money on instead of rent.

For the price, you can't beat this. Any place this old could use a renovation, but that would up the rent to $1,400+ for a two bedroom like everywhere else in Reno. If you can deal with some minor cosmetic imperfections and understand that every place will have its quirks, this is a great place to consider.

When I moved to this complex in Jan 2018, the rent was indeed affordable, but the physical appearance of the complex could use massive improvements.

The storage door was damaged and it didn't take them long to replace the broken down door with a new one after placing a work order in.

The buildings itself is filthy. Has the appearance of not having been painted in decades. Covered with cobwebs and insects / bugs caught in the cobwebs, and entire complex could use paint job on their buildings.

The mailbox area is filthy. No one (maintenance or groundskeeper) kept the area clean. The area is covered with dirt and debris.

The laundry room 6 washers, 6 dryers. 5 washers operational, one machine has been down now for the past three or four months.

Swimming pool barely kept clean. Dirt at the bottom and some dead bugs floating on top. Only two circular tables and maybe four chairs. No lounge chairs whatsoever, you need to bring your own lounge chair(s) to the pool if you want to relax by the pool.

Basketball court --- where are the nets?

Roadway not kept clean. Debris along the sidewalk and curb.

IF you live on ground floor, beware of balcony above you. Falling debris such as dirt, maybe someone's laundry, leaves etc.onto your patio area. The balcony above has wooden floors, and both patio and balcony walls also made of wood and the paint is cracked and peeling away.

The one thing I do like about living here is at walking distance are: Mountain Mikes. 7/11. CVS Pharmacy. Raley's (formerly Scolari's). The Dollar Store. Dotty's Casino. McDonalds. Port of Subs. Kona's Coffee Shop, and Mira Loma Park.

The management is really nice and helpful the maintenance staff is also friendly and very helpful it's quiet it's safe and I like being next to the pond in the neighborhood is wonderful

I have lived here for 14 years. That should be a good reason. I did not rate excellent, because of the transient nature of a rental community, sometimes the other tenants can be below par.
