The sense of community is amazing. Fountain Glen is the best apartment community I have ever lived at. The management is great and very helpful when I have any questions and they even love my dog. Maintenance always keeps the groundsand buildings looking awesome.
The old washers and dryers that break a few times a year isy only real annoyance, for the amount of money I dumped into those machines it's hard for me to believe they shouldn't be 2 sets of stacked front loaders or even one set of high capacity units. Having to wait for several hours on someone else's laundry was a pain. Also we were next to the laundry room and the noise from the roo. Was clearly audible from the kitchen and my room
The apartment was spacious and everything felt quiet in our building
The people that work in the clubhouse are always friendly and helpful.
Apartment hallways rarely cleaned and smelled like cigarette smoke. The apartment was not in great condition when I moved in. It smelled like smoke and the carpet had cigarette burns. Materials for cabinets and curtains were very cheap and showed a lot of wear over time. Overall the apartment did not equal the value I paid for with respect to other competition. The complexes are under renovation but long overdue. The complex should not charge existing tenants extra to upgrade to a renovated unit because of the degraded condition the current apartments are in. Staff was also unprofessional with returning my deposit post move out. Deposit was lost via postal service and minimal effort was given to follow up and close out the remaining customer service.
