What Renters Like and Dislike About Hastings

Fast food and mom 'n pop shops close by. Kids playing safely. Camping and fishing at the local lake that can really help reduce stress relaxing and enjoying family and friends

I like how quiet and very normal everything seems There are no obvious problems or dysfunctions. The neighborood is pretty quiet except for the noise of children playing ion warm weather,

I like that we live less than 2 blocks from the park. I love that we have 2 different YMCA buildings available to us, one within 2 blocks and one within 3 blocks. We are close enough that our youngest child can walk to his elementary school and our oldest can walk to his High School. In fact, so close that it would be ridiculous for our oldest to drive to high school. Businesses are all within a short drive.

I like to go to coffe shops or out to eat but no where to far becasue right now because of covid. The town doesn't have much

I live in rural community with population about 20,000. The neighbors know each other. And yes Carol has a key to my house. The bank I go to knows me by name. Eileen's Cookies is a very popular place in town. My sons were friends with her sons. The community is working hard to support local businesses during this time. We have a community theatre that we attend with friends. When someone comes visiting we take them to the museum that has koolaid section and in the summer to the water park.
