Garage, gates, well maintained grounds; maintenance personnel very knowledgeable and professional. Rent is comparable.
Market value as the cost of similar housing in the location is lower. Benefits do not support higher values.
The staff are very friendly, the apartments are maintained well, and we love the location. There is absolutely no parking on the back side- assigned spots may benefit the residents because I see many people who do not live here taking our spots. I wouldn't really call the exercise room an exercise room. It's always filthy, the bulletin board has posters from 2013 on it, and the equipment is outdated, limited, and broken occasionally.
We pay too much money for the condition of our apartment. Although it's a gated community, the gates have been in operation probably about 10% of the time we've lived there (a little over two years). Parking is horrible. I feel were paying for a luxury apartment but are not living in luxury.
We moved in a week ago. Happy with the size of the apartment but to have been built only 14 years ago, there are some things that really seem to be outdated. The thermostat is an OLD SCHOOL round one that is difficult to regulate the temp and hard to read. Also, the sound proofing is not as good as I had hoped. We hear almost every step the upstairs neighbors take. New mini blinds installed in master bedroom before I moved in & new lights in kitchen/dining area which I appreciate.
