    Columns is my favorite place I've ever lived (2016-2019). On-site staff was helpful and friendly, the grounds are really lovely, and though the building is old, it was originally built as luxury housing in the 70s and has been well-kept-up. Outdated style? Maybe. Still comfortable, sturdy, and an all-around-great place to live? 100%. Only downside is the visiting geese in the spring. XD Close access to shopping, fast food, and Springfield at large -- 10/10 would recommend.

    My experience at the Columns has been extremely positive. From the moment that I first walked in up until now, the office staff and maintenance team have been extremely friendly and accommodating. I know that if there is an issue, I can come to them for help and the issue will be handled in a timely manner. I can't wait to renew my lease!

    Ive lived here for about 8 years, theyve gone through 3 management companies in that time. I think the apartments are fine but CRES Management doesn't care about tenants, I expected to renew my lease like normal but theyve decided that renovating my apartment is worth more than my family continuing to have a roof over our heads. The prices have skyrocketed and not worth what youre getting. Also its an absolute nightmare getting out of the complex and you only have one exit. tenants are not respectful of other neighbors. Dog owners tend to let their dogs run loose even though they are told to have them leased at all times. They also dont clean up after their pets and management will put out warnings but they dont enforce them. Since CRES took over dealing with them is a nightmare.

    Ive read some reviews and it seems they have gotten new management. The reviews were awful. The most that stuck out for me was the bed bug infestation, also the washer and dryers do not work and the carpet is all stained in god knows what.
