This is my number one choice for moving in a few months!
I renewed my lease because the location is great. Close to parks, recycling centers, shopping, etc.
I would love to say that this is a great place to live. First, it's close to many locations (walmart, aldi's restaurants, Battlefield Mall, etc.) and while the place its not kept up very well (when asked about windows that don't close all the way, I keep getting told they don't have the money to fix it) it has been at least habitual for the last two years. Up until recently things were fine until they started doing every 3 month inspections of your apartment.
Let me first start out with the good and then I'll go with the bad.
1. Price for Townhomes per month
2. You get a lot of space, but second bedroom is VERY small.
3. Mostly quiet around the neighborhood.
4. Quite neighbors - no problem there
Unfortunately, this is where it ends as it looks like things have gone downhill in the last few months.
In October, the Wooten Company started doing these weird 3 month inspections. They disguise it as a "filter change" when really that is not the case. They will inspect every part of your apartment and take pictures of all your stuff. If it's not kept up to whatever their cleaning standards are, you are given a notice. Not ONE notice to clean it, three (One on your door, certified Mail and one via regular mail).
When this first happened - there were notices on literally EVERY door here in October. The mailman had a stack of letters to deliver to all the residences here at Dryden.
To make matters worse, I have had a leaking sink that I made a maintenance request for in November, December and when they came to do the inspection in January, I went over in detail what was going on - was told they would make it a priority only to find out a week later nothing had been done. Did they come and fix it? Nope, instead I got an unclean house notice. But no one can tell me what was wrong with my place so I can fix it!
I wouldn't mind inspections every 6 months to a year, but 3 months is outrageous. I'm done.
I just resigned my lease for another year. I love the location. I love the space my townhome has. Spacious closets. Quick access to highway.
We have lived here for a little over a year now and we love it! We have a really nice big walk in closet with lots of shelves. We love how much space this place has. The pool on the property is always so nice and clean, and the neighborhood is very quiet. Would recommend to anyone looking for a two bedroom townhouse!
