Lived her for 8 years now. Management is readily available, the location is great, on site laundry is a nice amenity as well as the internet that's included. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Briarwood is a great complex thanks to the apartment updates and the amenities. You cannot beat the price of the apartments or the location. Being dead center in the middle of Springfield is perfect for any commute. Lived here for 3 years now and love the upkeep of the grounds, plus the new tennis courts.

We have lived at Briarwood Village Apartments 3-4 years so far. We appreciate Jared always being open and listening to our concerns. The internet is nice and we enjoy using the large basketball court. Rent is affordable and the ground are well kept. When Briarwood does have a maintenance tech, we have seen our work orders done quickly and effectively.

Did you want to live in an apartment with security? How about a place with maintenance that will do repairs quickly and correctly? Were you wanting to park anywhere near your building? If you answered yes to any of these questions, go anywhere else. There is no security whatsoever. The lights in the stairwell of our building have been out since last May, so you have to go up and down the stairs in complete darkness. Bikes are stolen and cars are broken into consistently, yet there are still no cameras or security measures taken. There are only deadbolt locks on the doors, people would try to enter our apartment consistently, so the deadbolt did not feel all that secure. Maintenance will not fix anything and if they do come, they end up making the issue worse. We went more than 7 months without air conditioning and more than 2 weeks in July without a refrigerator. To get any issue fixed, you have to be extremely persistent, while always keeping a written record. They also do not fix or clean anything in between tenants, we had a hole in our kitchen floor all 3 years that was from the previous tenants and they said during our final inspection, that our carpets looked clean enough all they would have to do was put the vacuum lines in them to make them appear clean enough for the next tenant. They also do not keep up with the upkeep of the hallways and stairwells at all. The railings fall off and do not get replaced, the ceiling is busting out. Ill let you in on a secret; all of those good reviews you see? Notice how such a high percentage of them say they have just renewed their lease? Its because Wooten pays their residents to write reviews when they renew their lease, however, you have to hand these reviews in in person and they read them in front of you. It is pressuring to write a good review as can make your life there miserable if you dont. So essentially all of those reviews are a scam, making their overall reviews seem much higher than they should be.

In August, I will have been here for 2 years. I haven't had any problems. My refrigerator went out over a weekend and maintenance and management were able to get a new one in a few days. My daughter loves the pool. The internet is also nice to have included. Maintenance and management are always readily available.

Now that I have lived here for 7 years, I wouldn't have it any other way. The management is great. The maintenance is timely and they do efficient work. I love their facilities. If I want to do laundry at midnight, I can, safely. I highly recommend this place for students, families, really anyone.

An excellent place to live! We have the best onsite manager here. Jared goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of this complex, including doing some of the maintenance himself...even those things that require him to be on his knees to get things done.

The people in this place have never given us any problems. The maintenance is always on time and efficient with our service request. The management is also friendly and involved in the community. We would like to see a dumpster place closer to our unit. Also, this complex worked with us regarding our prior eviction and we appreciate that. We would definitely recommend to friend.
