    I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the recent incident that occurred at the property manager's office of my apartment complex. Today marked my third attempt to obtain my mailbox key, and the encounter left me shocked and dismayed by the manager's behavior. Upon arriving at the office and politely explaining my need for the mailbox keys due to my recent move, I was informed that I had to request maintenance through the website to obtain the keys. This was a requirement that had never been mentioned during my previous visits. To add to the inconvenience, I was told that the process would take several more days. When I questioned why this information wasn't provided earlier, the manager responded rudely, offering no explanation and eventually escorting me out of her office with raised voices. The aggression displayed by the property manager was entirely uncalled for, considering my respectful demeanor throughout the interaction. To my surprise, she even threatened to involve law enforcement if I did not leave immediately. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also completely unwarranted, leaving me feeling disrespected and mistreated. Moreover, my overall experience with the management of this property has been less than satisfactory. While the initial welcome during the move-in process was warm, the responsiveness plummeted when it came to maintenance issues. Calls went unanswered, and the lack of communication only exacerbated the challenges. Additionally, the mandatory gym fee raises further concerns. Despite charging residents for access, the cleanliness of the gym leaves much to be desired. Dust and garbage are prevalent on the gym floor, indicating a lack of attention to basic hygiene and maintenance.

    Lived here 5+ years and I do not recommend this property. This property is NOT luxury at all! It's the opposite, from the 1990's appliances to the lack of customer service or care. If you have issues Maintenance, billing, or otherwise, plan on making multiple calls, visits to the leasing office, and hours of your time to resolve them. Property manager Kourtney is hot garbage with a bad attitude. Her employees pretty much fall under the same description. No one cares or follows up. They will close your Maintenance ticket without a response or coming by. YOU will have to follow-up . The multi million dollars spent was tearing down a perfectly fine leasing office and rebuilding the Taj mahal! Fees, fees, and more fees: On top of your rent, you are charged water, trash, parking, electricy (in addition to your Ameren bill) and a Common area charge that averages 50 to 60 dollars per month. Just read the responses to the negative reviews...it's just denial, denial, and no accountability...typical Kourt!!!

    EDITED for most up to date info: I moved in on June 7th to a very dirty apartment, broken appliances, and a list of damages that were unprecedented. Regardless of their carelessness in tending to a new tenant prior to move-in, I have been here for over two months with a broken dryer. For almost an entire month, nothing was even done because the maintenance team werent aware there was even an issue because they closed my maintenance request out, which management tells me was never put in. For two months, no dryer, with no ETA, and the funniest thing is no one has apologized. Seriously, no dryer for 2 months and ALL of them are playing defense. They keep saying next week tomorrow Ill do this Ill do that and then I dont hear from anyone. If Im renting, its because of the convenience of not having to pay for repairs. My rent is $1800. I just cant believe this. I have attempted to call the main JRK corporate line but that is a dead line. They want nothing to do with helping residents

    Do yourself a huge favor and dont rent here. Frustration with the staff and management there is never ending. Ever since JRK took over the management at Fieldpointe it went downhill. Between having enormous difficulty communicating with the office (even just getting a phone call answered), attempting to double my rent (thats when I officially decided it wasnt worth staying) and dealing with moving out (not getting my security deposit back after being told several times we were getting it back) I was constantly in a state of frustration with Fieldpointe. When management first took over the office was closed for a week with no communication to residents and the pool looks completely different than pictured because of little upkeep. The office staff seems nice but they wont call you back and attempt to help but give no real answers to questions or concern. I have seriously never dealt with so many frustrations living at any apartment complex. You wont get your security deposit back no matter how much you call them, its been over 3 months and now my calls wont go through, they have never once called me back, Ive given them my forwarding address at least 5 times now. They just want to avoid anyone that wants money from them but will answer right away when you want to schedule a tour (the only way I got them to respond to me and quickly they avoided my following email) just utter disrespect for their tenants and the worst communication Ive ever witnessed. Seriously dont do it.

    Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else. I have lived at Fieldpointe for many years, but the new management company (JRK) has basically stopped maintaining the property while raising rent and refusing to respond to residents' concerns. Don't be fooled by the owner's photos. They do not show the current state of Fieldpointe. Also don't be fooled by their promise of "millions of dollars in renovations" coming. They recently repainted the outside of our buildings and they look worse than before.
