Living in Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, MO

The Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is one of six seminaries that function under the Southern Baptist Convention. The seminary is in northern Kansas City and is conveniently located close to many student apartment opportunities and off-campus housing. The first theological seminary was founded in 1957, and since then has grown steadily to become one of the most prominent religious schools in the area. When the institution first opened, it only had a humble 275 students and 10 faculty members, but today the school consists of more than 100 faculty and an ever-growing student population that has eclipsed 1,000 attendees.

Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary offers a full slate of theological degree programs in both online and classroom formats. At the undergraduate level, there are bachelor's and associate degrees in Music, Christian Ministry, Biblical Studies and Missionary Aviation. Master's programs are available in Christian Education, Counseling, Biblical Languages and Archaeology, just to name a few. Finally, the school offers exciting Doctoral programs in Ministry and Christian Education, as well as Ph.D-level coursework.

As an added bonus to the student living experience at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, scholars can enjoy the sights and sounds of Kansas City when they're taking a break from their studies. Students can catch a professional sporting event of the NFL's Chiefs or the MLB's Royals or catch a show at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
