I am a current resident, living here now for 15+ years. I lived here previously from 1997-2000, so I'm very familiar with this property. When I returned in 2005 I saw some familiar faces and received incredible treatment.
After living through the sale of this property two times, I've watched as my rent increases yearly and the property services and maintenance have decreased yearly.
Basic service work orders require being submitted multiple times, and I usually end up fixing the problem myself 50% of the time (3 weeks+ to change a light bulb in the hallway, buy my own extermination products for roaches and mice, and ultrasonic pest repellers for squirrels and raccoons). Security lighting, which should be high priority, may take weeks to months to be fixed (currently I have several work orders/request for an outside light to be fixed - that went in near the beginning of June!), along with stairwell issues that have yet to be resolved after 1 1/2 YEARS (and still waiting)
A maintenance request gets submitted and, after several weeks of postponing the order, only to be delayed more because of understaffing or weather related issues. Excuses are plentiful. $5/month for exterminator fees may not seem much, but when you NEVER see pest controllers and CONTINUE seeing pest, it gets old and laughable.
A new property manager, and mostly new maintenance staff were brought in mid May, 2020, with promises of improvements. Intentions were good, but unfortunately still unrealized. I understand there's a pandemic going on, but why am I still paying to do my own work orders?
The size of these apartments and proximity to highway access is a draw, but only if you're willing to do some of your own maintenance, and pay for services not always received.
There are better places to live.
The apartment is very old, not clean one, and the management never takes things maintenance request seriously. Will never recommend anyone staying here. Moreover staff is so arrogant and not sure what kind of training they undergo.
Will recommend to pls stay away from this.
Wanted a 2 bedroom preferably 2 bathroom apartment. Have a little dog about 15 pounds
I contacted them 5 times and I never once heard back to look at the townhouse.
I think this is nice. My daughter lives here in maryland heights also. Are you pet friendly? I have a dog, that is 14 lbs
