Excellent office and maintenance staff, very friendly, willing to put in the extra effort and extra time to get things done right
I have lived here for almost 10 years and have lived in many apartments across the country prior to moving here. The Ethans beats them all. Apartments are well taken care of and the grounds are beautiful. Any problems are taken care of as soon as they are reported. Office personell are friendly and and attentive to your needs. Rental rates are reasonable for our area.
I was supposed to move into the Ethans a few weeks ago. I had picked up my keys and went to my new apartment. I spent 30 min trying to locate a unit I was told was on the entry level and had a fireplace. It was on the second floor with no fireplace. I went inside only to find broken cabinet shelves, no burners in the stove, mold growing in the dishwasher, a sink that made a loud whaling sound and dripped at the base, an amazon package for the prior resident, they painted over the dust that the laundry room door had collected, the bathroom was missing all but one lightbulb and the towel bar was broken, the living room windows had some sort of substance you couldnt even see outside, they obviously had not made sure it was move in ready. I went back to the main office and told them about my issue they then offered me another unit of a different style but it was supossidly entry level with a fireplace so I agreed to switch units. The woman helping me gave me keys to go check out my new unit. Once again it was not on the entry level like I was told it would be and no fireplace to be seen. I then made my way back to the office extremely disappointed. I could tell the woman felt bad but she said I wasnt the only one whos apartment wasnt ready that weekend or was located in the wrong place. If you choose to rent the Ethans I would double check where your unit is not based off of the paperwork and ask to see the inside before filling out an application. They offered me a refund but 3 weeks later and still no check.
Management Doesnt Care. (Continue Reading)
A pipe burst in the kitchen on Tues, 11/27/18, that started to flood the dining room. The next day when maintenance could come in to look at it, we find out someone had wrapped the pipe with duck tape. So it had been leaking the whole time we've been living here (since 01/19/18) and it caused mold to grow. Office said it would be all fixed Monday, and long story short, it didn't happen. My roommate called the health department and they came more than twice, and even then they wouldn't fix it. They gave excuses for why they haven't, but you would think for a situation like this, it would be fixed ASAP. So a month later it's finally fixed (12/28/18) We have talked to the manager a few times to work something out for the inconvenience, but she refuses to work with us. I believe that is very unacceptable and disappointing that she doesn't care. I haven't been able to use my kitchen since then, my roommate hasn't been able to live here this whole time because the mold has effected his allergies and he has kids that he wouldn't even be able to bring home because of it too.
AND they changed the locks the day before move out and we couldnt get into our apt!
Was a great place to live
