After being in communications with the Bennington Ridge apartments for two weeks planning a tour, when my fiance and I went in for our tour, the front desk woman through a lot of attitude and informed us we weren't on the calendar. When we explained how we had been communicating via text with the apartment company, she responded that it is an automated system and not her fault the computer didn't put us in the calendar. Besides which, they didn't have any available units to tour. The entire time she was acting like it was our fault they didn't change their status in their computer so it wouldn't auto-respond and treated us as if we were bothering her. We both left work early and drove on icy roads to be met with dismissal and rudeness. Even if they have units open, we will NOT be going back for a tour.
2014 - 2018
If i could give the new management a Zero i would. The place has went down hill since it appears they have changed management. The grounds look like crap. We were offered a bigger unit because we were having issues at the unit we have now and the unit was dirt, things were broke and they wanted $200 more a month. The lady was so lazy she didn't even bother to show us the unit, she just gave us a key. When I went back and told her why we didn't want it, she said it was things maintenance could fix. My question is why wouldn't you have it fixed now, when your showing a place to someone, wouldn't you want to put you best foot forward to try to sell the place? All this did was show me she didn't give a crap. My children's safety has been compromised by the situation at my town home and their lack of doing anything about or addressing it with me is very discouraging. We felt our only avenue left was to give the complex 60 days notice that we were leaving per the contract we signed. The manager called me at work and was very rude, she made idle threats about how they would come after me for breaking the lease, when I brought up the unsafe condition for my children she cut me off that I need to be watching him. He is 20 months old, we cant go out in our own driveway because we dont know what we will find. The police already came over once because of the drugs that were found all over our neighbor and adjoining driveway, the management took pictures but nothing was done. She said I didnt tell them enough times. I told her of the multiple times we called about it and had to leave messages and she said she just heard about them. to me that means you arent a very good manager if you dont know whats going on with something you supposed to be managing.then i was turned into collection agency after they broke the contract. RUN FROM THIS PLACE, NOT SAFE FOR YOUR CHILDREN!
