I've lived here for nearly nine months now. For starters, this facility has a very weird layout, so depending upon which building you end up in, it will probably change the way you view this review. I for one, live in one of the buildings that is right next to the trash dumpsters, and also closest to the railroad tracks. To explain in further detail, I wasn't aware of just how many trains came thru Joplin until I moved in here. A LOT, and about every 30 minutes to an hour. Second, my building sits directly across from the only dumpsters on the facility, and the management doesn't have the common sense to make sure that they empty said dumpsters during the daytime. No, instead, they come at 3:30 in the morning, and some of these jerks leave the back-up signal on the trash truck for the entire 5 minutes it takes them to empty all three dumpsters. Mind you this is all taking place right outside your bedroom and your kids bedrooms when you're trying to sleep, and they come at least 4-5 times each week to empty the dumpsters. Another thing I kept having issues with, during the summer time, I kept having to move the hoses to keep the grass outside my apartment watered, otherwise it would have all died, in fact half of it did! The management and maintenance staff at this facility obviously do not understand their jobs or they just choose not to do them properly. Shortly after I first moved in, they hired a new woman to help out in the office, and they made a big deal out of it, but she was gone within 6 months, so something obviously went down! The maintenance man that was here when I first moved in has also been replaced, by one that is a jerk! The property manager is nice, but she doesn't seem to be working out at this position quite obviously from my experience and time living here, and I'm not sure that she knows how to do the job properly, or perhaps she is just not closely supervised enough. Perhaps they need more staff, I don't know, but I know I would nev
