The Finn

I applied for this place in June. I ended up moving somewhere else & after telling the woman that I wasnt moving forward she stopped taking my calls or replying to my emails. Theres a $150 refund that I never received. Its been months & they are ignoring me. I didnt move there bc of the reviews & now I see why people have issues with them.

I believe it is a great place to live plus it is close to my employment and store are also close by. I am very firmiluar with the are as some my co- workers also lived there.

The Finn is the worst place I have ever lived. The office doesn't care about what you say, the manager will always say he's on a conference call so he can't talk. Maintenance doesnt do anything to help your problems (air conditioning, furnace problems, broken anything in your apartment!) They really are the laziest, most disgraceful staff I have ever had to deal with. You will have to hunt them down for weeks sometimes months just to get one necessity fixed. I highly recommend moving on and finding somewhere actually anywhere else would be better to live than here at the finn... Worst decision of my life.

Where can I start.... The apartment first off when moving in was not inspected like they said they would be the blinds still had cracks in them and dirty the kitchen wasn't clean and there are ROACHES! I know where I came from didn't have roaches before and that it had to be the apartments the bugs were so bad that it started coming in my boyfriends car.. Maintenance never comes when needed. Also I have a one unit for air conditioning and heat in august when we moved in the weather was HOT and the air unit broke and me and my boyfriend had to buy fans to last us until 2 weeks until maintenance finally came. I wouldn't recommend knollwood I cannot wait until the lease is up to move somewhere

I moved in middle of June- was given a list to go through the apartment and let them know what was wrong with it. What I don't get is why do I have play your inspector to have a decent place to live. I'm paying extra for "Wood floors" but in the middle of the dining room there's a big gash in the flooring and places where it looks like they tried to glue rips together. The refrigerator was leaking since the day I did a walk through before I moved in and still not fixed. The bathroom sink looks like they used putty to fix the drainage and never glazed it- I still have no key to the storage, the screen door doesn't slide well open or closed, the front door the weather strip looks like its been there for 20+ years its corroding. I went to the laundry mat and was completely discussed with how filthy it is in there! The outlook of this place grass cut trash picked up pools look pretty but thats a cover- I got fooled by the cover. The leasing office NEVERRRRR answers the phone so I have to go to the office to complain. I've talked to them 5 times a manager once and the only thing done was the tub facet because there was no regulating the water it was either extreme hot, semi hotish warm or cold no regulating so they finally fixed that because I was near burning myself. I saw maintenance man one day with a screw driver asked him to fix the dead bolt door plate because the screws were coming out and i couldn't get in out my apartment without jiggling the door. Not safe at all. I'm absolutely moving as soon as I can! Going on two months now!
