Good response for maintenance, staff is great to work with
Very poor maintenance response. Even common appliances like building laundry machine are left broken, unattended for weeks. It is terrible.
These apartments and townhouses were built in the late 70's. Keep that in mind because you will be paying a lot of money for townhouse that needs to be gutted and updated. The kitchen has a bad layout and not enough cabinets. The bathrooms are in serious need of new plumbing and new cabinets and tub/shower. They need a cleaning service to come in after a move out. They need to replace the original heaters. There is some kind of black dust build up around registers. The registers haven't been cleaned in years. They will clean the carpet why don't they clean the air ducts! Some neighbors are having problems with spiders and roaches. Just know your paying high rent for a dilapidated place.
Our move in date was set months in advance but when it came time to move in the apt manager call to tell us the lady that had just moved out destroyed the place. We agreed that we could wait another week to move in. Again when our move in date came it got pushed back a few more days. We stopped by the day before move in date to see where we could park the uhaul to unload and found the doors open so we went in to take a peek. The kitchen was still in shambles. The cabinets looked like a toddler had tried to refinish them. Both vanities in bathrooms were completely rotted out underneath and the bathtub looked as if it had not been cleaned since the 70's. The back of the tube had been broken off so they just painted over it. I was in tears because we were supposed to move in the next day and there was no way this apartment was livable. We spoke to the leasing manager the next day when the office was open and explained the horrid sight we had seen in the apartment and there was no way they could get all that fixed by 5pm the same day. She agreed and then told us they did not have anything available for at least 2 weeks or more. Well your last day at our current apartment was 3 days away so that was not going to work for us. I have never been so mad or disgusted. The leasing manager was super nice about the situation which was the only good part of this whole debacle. Now I'm waiting to get my deposit back.
Not worth the money!!!! The gym they show you for advertising, isn't the gym they really have. Half of the equipment is gone (for whatever reason). The other equipment is either broke, or about to be broke.
They have a computer to use, but a broke printer, that's been that way for months now, With no signs of getting fixed.
The playground area smells like a sewage, due to water trapped in the mulch. The slightest rain, turns it into a small pound for mosquitoes to breed. Once the water starts to dry up, or soak into the ground..... It's a HUGE mud pit for the entire spring, and half the summer & fall season.
Never enough parking spaces or trash can for the size of the property.
Your basically paying for the area, and school district. But the management mentality, as well as the lack of amenities they advertise, as well as lack of property upkeep.... You would think you were living in the Ville area.
