When we first moved in a few years ago it was a promising and progressive complex. Fast forward to now and the complex is lacking in security, maintenance, management. We anticipate our lease to end in the next few months and have been searching other areas. It is most unfortunate as this place could truly be something special for families. You will overpay for your stay here.
If I could give less than one star I would!!! Worst place EVER! All they care about is taking your money. Biggest rip off ever. Dont even waste your time going here. Youd be better off just setting your money on fire. The manager is nothing short of rude.
Gave 90 day notice I was moving. Moved out at the scheduled time. Rent was paid on time. Two months passed and called and asked about my deposit money. Lady told me I owed them $170 for sewage and pest control. Mind you my rent was paid up and they charge you sewage and pest control on your rent each month. The second reason I know I dont owe them any money because if your $1 short on your rent that includes the pest control and sewage they leave a nasty note on your door making treats to evict. The apartments look nice but the way they steal your deposit with flat out lies is a joke. L
Have lived here for over 2 years now in a 2 bedroom apartment, and although it is not perfect (nothing is) I am very pleased with living at Vista Ridge over the past 2 years. The staff goes above and beyond in many ways. From taking care of package deliveries, keeping up the beautiful grounds, or being "Johnny on the spot" with any issues in the apartments themselves, the staff does an excellent job. So what are the "Pro's and Con's": PRO--The staff (said this already, but it really needs to be mentioned again, the beautiful landscaping and grounds (also said earlier but needs to be mentioned again), the salt water pool, the gates (come with a remote, so no having to punch buttons to get in), the location (close to all the shopping and retail, the bathroom and bedroom sizes. the garages (I store stuff in my garage, but you can park car as well), covered parking (I pay for covered assigned parking---totally worth it to have an assigned place), CON---The living room and kitchens are a little small, ceilings (I am on the 1st floor) and can hear the neighbors steps if they step loud, but that is part of living in an apartment, not always enough parking (which is why I say get the covered parking or garage), because it is in the heart of the retail area there is not a lot of people that "live here", so limited on food delivery but "TUPELO 2 GO" is a great asset, and also getting a dominoes down the street, Have never had a bug problem in the 2 years, I have lived here, and never had an issue with any neighbors. Everyone seems to be working professionals with a few retired, like myself. .
