East Gate Apartments

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. I am 22 years old and had the worst experience ever with this lady (KIM). This was my first time ever having my own apartment and it breaks my heart to go through so much trauma with this place in general. From the first time I stepped my foot in the complex I shouldve known better it to sign a year lease with her. My initial contract was supposed to be a 1bed and 1bath when it was time for my move in date she still had old tenants furniture in my apartment and my bathroom roof was completely caved in so she moved me to a 2 bedroom 1 bath. So my first night there I started noticing issues with that apartment, when I try to wash dishes the water would leak out the dishwasher and literally flood my whole kitchen and dining room and it stayed like that a whole year until I moved out. Then I started having issues with my garbage disposal that they had to fix multiple times andddd then my biggest problem of them ALL was that my whole complex had a roach infestation problem from the start of April AND UNTIL I MOVED OUT which is August 31st 2021. So after I moved I made sure I cleaned everything out of the unit EXCEPT for the dishwasher because it was Disgusting. Fast forward to today September 17 2021. She tells me that Im not receiving my deposit back for absolutely no reason I have pictures and videos of how I left the unit (same way I received it) it needs a carpet cleaning but thats all. This place is a rip of and Im telling my story so it wouldnt be you. OH! And shes rudeeeee, she use to come BEAT on my door at 8 oclock in the morning just to pick with me. It was a horrible experience but I know my God dont play about me and karma is real. May God bless that evil soul.

Have personally watched the downfall of this community. It was really nice when I first moved here. Now the place is run-down. OMG have u seen the potholes!!! I can't park back there anymore. I love this place but it makes me very sad to see it getting worse with each passing year. There's a lot of empty apts - I assume ppl got fed up and moved. I keep telling myself to be patient, that the place will be fixed back up and the parking lot repaved.

Great place. It's has large bedrooms. The closet is too small. For the price I need luxury. Take care and have a great day. Where the low income apartments! Year 2018

Would not recommend. Constant water issues (leaking, main pipe breaks, gutters, mold). Maintenance is slow and not up-to-par. Property Supervisor is not pro-active nor listens to renter's issues. Rent is extremely high. Gate hasn't worked in two years (even though it is advertised as a gated community). Pool is green year round.
