Highpointe

My family lived in Highpointe apartments for the last year. I have many complaints about Highpointe. The first thing you see upon pulling into the entrance is a giant garbage heap. You pay for garbage that is never emptied. You will never be able to talk to the office. You have to call 10 times to get 1 answer. The dog waste station beside my apartment was broken off and all that stood was a jagged piece of pipe. I asked that it be fixed and it was sawed down to a sharp piece of pipe and covered with a cone. In order to have pest control you have to call it in yourself. Trust me, you will need to call weekly, and even if you do call, you will ultimately have roaches crawling across your face at night. My toilet was broken and leaked TOILET WATER through the slats in the floor. Since they were repeatedly unable to figure out the problem, we walked in our own urine, across the floor, to use the restroom. This went on for weeks as they tracked black goo and wax all over my bathroom without cleaning up their mess. I encountered vulgar messages written outside my front door in the broad daylight. Highpointe charges a base price for their water bill of $30 without you using a drop. My family's water usage was, on average, less than $5 a month, but my water bill never dipped below $50 after the base price, and random admin fees that were added by Highpointe. They told me that the entire city of Brandon had a base payment of $30 for water, but Brandon Public Works clarified that wasnt true either. My husband, who is in the army, was mobilized and we had to move. They charged us an additional month of rent. We have also been charged multiple charges for rental insurance, which we purchased on our own. When we moved I left bleach cleaner for the staff to use for cleaning and they called, threatening to charge me a fee for leaving my cleaner and a front porch mat. Ive never been charged a fee for kindness.

LOVE THIS PLACE, OFFICE STAFF IS VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. THE PLACE IS CLEAN AND QUITE, CLOSED BY TO EVERYTHING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED....

Highpointe is a class act! From the moment I toured to moving in and maintenance requests.....they have always exceeded my expectations and treated me like family.

Cheap Safe for widow 1 bedroom

My family lived at HighPointe for a 12 month lease and it was excellent. The office staff was very attentive, maintenance was amazing and the quick and always on the grounds making it look nice. Overall a good neighborhood. Walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors a lot of the time, but other than that nothing negative to say.
