Since residents are allowed to smoke in their apartments, sometimes the hallways really smell like smoke. It is also a challenge to get into your storage locker, since you have to use a group key and aren't allowed to have or buy one. Otherwise, I'm quite happy. The management is very nice, reasonable, and is usually able to accommodate any request. Questions or inquiries are answered or taken care of in a timely manner, as well as maintenance requests.

My front door was literally falling off its hinges the entire time I lived here, seriously, I had to lift the door up a few inches to open and shut it, and nothing was done to fix it. I only lived here 3 months so I didn't make too big of a deal about it but I told management multiple times and was told maintenance would be there soon to fix it. When I moved out they also took money off my security deposit for problems I had identified on the move in sheet which I definitely did not do. I pointed this out and got a hand wavy answer about how I did identify these as problems but they were worse than when I moved in apparently. In addition to this, they told me I couldn't try to find a someone to sublease when I moved out 2 months early and they wouldn't approve it if I found someone, this part is ridiculous, I should be able to sublease, they stole a couple thousand dollars from me because of this.
It is frustrating that the elevator for the building seems to be out of order at least once a month. Maybe spending the money to upgrade it would be a good long term investment instead of having to fix it monthly. Management is quick to respond to questions and concerns.
The mgr is awesome and a pleasure to work with-in fact I've had positive experiences with everyone in the office and maintenance. The only complaint I have is that after they upgraded my apartment last year I was presented with a new lease with a rent increase of 120.00. I rec'd NO written notice that this was going to happen and the in-force lease did not have a clause stating that I would be required to re-do my lease at mgmt's will. I doubt that was legal but did not pursue
