The amenities were great. However, the 1 bedroom apartment unit I was shown was unimpressive. The unit had not yet been turned over. Therefore, the red accent wall painted by the previous tenant was a huge turnoff. It was difficult to picture what the place would look like without the red wall. And, I couldn't picture my furniture and personal style in there.
I wouldn't recommend showing apartments until they're fully turned over.
I did not apply at this property.
Ive been living here for almost two years and I am a fan of these apartments. It's relatively quiet, even with the walls being rather thin. Neighbors are really respective of that. Im coming from downtown Minneapolis and it's a million times better here. Management is really great to. Repairs are done very quickly, the only downside is that you have to provide your own bulbs for any light fixtures. The get togethers that the management throws aren't too bad either :)
Do not waste your time with this place. I thought the all these negative reviews would have to be one-offs but turns out they were pretty spot on.
After viewing an apartment that was very small for the price and poorly maintained, we decided to leave this place as a backup. We were told we would need to pay the application fee and the deposit but if we wanted to back out we would just lose the application fee, which I confirmed with the woman we were working with several times just to make sure. After over three weeks of hearing nothing we found a much better place so we called to cancel our application and get the deposit back. We were then told that we had been approved (but no one bothered to let us know) and after being approved we can't get the deposit back. It's our own fault for trusting these people and not reading everything line by line because turns out the only way to get your deposit back is if you are denied. So, we were completely lied to by the leasing staff.
Do yourself a favor and keep looking. There are way better options in the area and these reviews ring very true. They will say anything to get you to sign but do not care at all about what happens after that point.
