The incompetence of the leasing office outweighs any positives of the property. Another review mentioned that it was hard to find anyone in the leasing office, and I agree. The staff were polite and seemed nice but they were completely unorganized. My final straw was them holding my security deposit hostage because the manager Rachel lost a cashier's check.
The management of this office is very disorganized. Had issues with the rent amount charged that required contact with the leasing office nearly every month, and it would take them most of the month to fix.

-Brand new, trendy apartments
-Close to good food, shopping, groceries, the highway, and Mayo
-Easy access to walking trails
-Residents are extremely friendly
-"Dog friendly" but they only offer a pet waste station at their extremely sad looking dog park which consists of mulch and overgrown weeds. Additionally, a large percentage of the time the dog park was unusable due to water accumulation and mud. I also had issues with the waste container overflowing for 1+ week before being emptied.
-The building is non-smoking, which is a plus, but the man that does their maintenance spends the entire day sitting right outside the garage smoking cigarettes. If you live anywhere near the first level garage, you'll have to keep your windows shut unless you like the smell of cigarettes.
-There never seemed to be anyone in the office. This was an issue I noticed even before moving in. I have had difficulty with getting questions answered via email as well.
-The parking lot fills quickly leaving residents to either park in a non-parking area or walk from one of the restaurants nearby; not exactly ideal for a young female at nighttime.
-The landscaping could use some work. I lived there just over a year and never once saw anyone do anything more than mow the lawn.
Overall, despite the cons, I enjoyed my time at Red44. There are definitely things they could improve on but I'd recommend them over many of the other apartment complexes in Rochester.
I have not rented in over 30 years and wondered what to expect. I found that this is the Greatest complex. I told my wife that when we retire, we are selling our homes and moving into a condo or apartment. All the residents and managers with the leasing company are friendly and helpful. Very quiet complex. I have been here almost a year and have not had any issues with noise.
Beautiful apartment! Very modern and comfortable. Love the huge windows, granite counter tops, front-loading washer/dryer in-unit, high ceilings and underground heated parking! The lobby is beautiful and there are nice community areas to hang out. There is a complimentary shuttle to Mayo. The apartment is pet-friendly. I feel very welcome with my dog. Plenty of areas to walk my dog and there's even a great dog-washing station. The property is quiet and professional. Highly recommend!
