I am a former resident I live there for 6 years basically I love my apartment I didn't have issues like others did and when I did have minor issues they were addressed and taken care of. I moved out September first of 2019 my issue which is a very big issue I paid my last rent August 1st paid with a personal check of $1,137. This check was given to the leasing agent as always I thought nothing else of it came the 15th of the month the check still was not cashed came the 25th of the month the check was not cashed I went to the office a couple of times nobody was there I called the office left messages no one returned my call I finally went to the office three days prior of me moving the leasing agent was there I asked about why my check was not cashed she said she didn't know she turned it in and it should be taken care of okay. September 1st Moving Day everything was moved out of my apartment my apartment was totally cleaned all keys were turned in I spoke with the leasing agent face to face inquired about why my check was not cashed still she did not know said she was going to check on it I made sure that she had my phone number she said she did. I called few days later no answer I left voicemail no return call the money still sat in my account check not cashed this went on for another month mind you this was 60 days I finally put a closed account on my check cuz I was not going to continue the hold my check out there like that. I just received the letter from Rent Solutions recovery this was dated January the 25th how many months later? Exactly I had no return phone calls, nothing sent to me in writing no contact whatsoever from Manor Royal or their management company stating that they were unable to cash this check but I received a letter from rent Recovery Solutions stating I owe this money. Now somebody wants to contact. For my part they would have got five stars they only get two From Me Maybe One All they had to do was contact me
Awful place to live! People let their dogs pee and poop in the halls... the new carpet in halls already looks awful! To high priced for what we put up with from management New appliances are already breaking down! Not kept up at all.
Did not show for showing no one was there, no call or email for rescheduling
There's a lot with this place that I don't like I have been here for over a year and have had to deal with the cops being called in the middle of the night to break up a fight between other residents more times than I can count. The place is kind of shabby, the halls always smell like cat urine Rugs in hallways sorely need to be washed. I can't tell anymore if they smell like human or animal urine. We also pay Soo much for rent compared to other yet the building could use a lot of updating. The office seems to be closed a lot or has shorten hours and office aren't enforcing rules or they just take it out of the lease as a rule completely. Not to mention the garage walls that were just repair part of the construction are getting Covered with Mold once again. the gym should have better weights. Suggestion: exchange the bike for an elliptical. Chlorine levels in the pool are too high. Sauna sanitation is questionable.
I've been living at manor royal for a couple months now. The units themselves are nice, but the rest of the property is DISGUSTING DIRTY AND NASTY. The hallways are never cleaned. The pool is full of trash the sunana don't work. For 4 months the 3rd floor was without ac. They shut the water off WITHOUT notice. The water and plumbing stinks, The manager is rude. The Landry room never work, my clothes smell worse coming out before they did going in. The manager She's never in her office but is always outside. The people make complaints about everyone in the building, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if you have child or a spouse. But if your old and single AND LIKE DIRTY THINGS. Everything is old and falling apart. They use cheap material to update the units from the old things on the inside. My walls are unevenly painted, the carpet trimming comes up, the floor panels have caves on them.
