Management is phenomenal, free coffee machine every day and ice cream on Fridays, prompt and professional maintenance, quiet community with many study spaces and a great workout area in an area close to the U of M campus, northeast breweries, stone arch bridge, etc.
Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT
The apartment unit itself was great. Management was slow to get much at all done. For example some of our furniture needed replacing when we moved in and management acknowledged this. However it took nearly two months to get it. Same story when our washing machine broke. Managers changed multiple times over the course of the year and this was never communicated to residents.
Loved living at the Elysian - I was a resident there for 2 years. Great facility, management was fairly easy to work with, there were some fun events for residents, and I liked the free coffee and workout facility. Also appreciated the security on the weekends. Didn't give it an excellent because there's always room for improvement - management wasn't in the office very often even when it was supposed to be open and things didn't always get fixed in a timely manner (Grill wasn't fixed)
