We have lived here for 3+ years, and have always been pleased with all aspects of Southview Gables. office staff is always helpful and accessible, maintenance is always prompt and efficient, and the grounds and apartments are great. Only negative is the lack of carts in garage/tenants not replacing them, the trash room/shoot in my building (4895) is always jammed, and if I am not mistaken the drive is a one-way drive and people are always going the wrong way.
the apartment space is excellent, and I love the indoor garage parking and storage cabinets. The in house washer and dryer are awesome as is the extra storage space.
The apartment was dark and outdated, with an odd layout and misused space, but it was fairly spacious and affordable.
I don't personally have a problem with things. But there's nothing super great that stands out. I do like a lot of my neighbors. But the current office staff isn't the same as the previous staff who I really liked. The current staff is okay. The prices of rent also sound like they are going up, which is driving a lot of people out.
I moved in to SouthView Gables in 2014 and had nothing but great things to say about the management company at that time. As of 2015 the management company has changed and I cannot stress enough how the quality has changed (for the worse). The management company is lackluster, they push back on fixing things or doing things properly when it comes to the property.
