Located in Rochester, Minnesota, Crossroads College's history dates back to the early 20th century. Founder David Eugene Olson partnered with Julius Stone to create the Scandinavian Christian Unity Misisonary Society, which later became the International Christina Bible College Association. In 1913, Olson purchased a plot of land in Minneapolis and established the International Christian Bible College later that year. The school's name shifted to Minneapolis Bible College in 1924 and evolved several more times over the next few decades. The college moved from its original campus location to Rochester in 1971, and in 2002, it adopted the name Crossroads College. Today, the college provides balanced religious and academic education for students from across Minnesota and the U.S.
According to its mission statement, Crossroads College "serves Christ and His church through academic excellence in a Christ-centered education, by developing Christian leaders who impact the world for Christ and by providing resources that strengthen churches and enrich the community." The college goes on to state, "It is the conviction of Crossroads College that nothing, be it natural ability, intellectual achievement or any other highly prized attribute, can take the place of personal dedication to Christ."
