When I showed up for my tour time there was a sign on the door saying they would return ten minutes after my appointment time. I figured ok Ill overlook it. When they arrive they tell me the units I was looking at werent actually available. They then try to upsell me by an extra $500 a month. I figured Id tour to see if it was even worth it. On the tour I could see the the complex was run down. There were wholes in walls and paint chipped off in hallways. The main office and unit itself were in decent shape, and they looked nice but they were built cheaply for the rent theyre asking.
I would NOT recommend living here if you are someone that truly cares about what you are getting for your money! THE REVIEWS ON GOOGLE ARE CORRECT!!! A few months after moving in a pipe had busted on third floor and had leaked through to my laundry room, they called to notify me so I went home to find maintenance people had left my door unlocked and apartment unattended, soggy debris from the ceiling all over my floor, and instead of bringing their own bucket knowing there was a water leak they felt the need to go through my cupboards and take my kitchen stock pot out to catch the nasty dripping water. It wasnt until I went to the office to complain that I was offered to have the pot replaced. Once the leak was fixed they patched the area but the next day it had continued to leak and there was a wet spot on the ceiling so they had to come back again to fix it. Pipes are CONSTANTLY leaking so they shut the water off on what seems like a weekly basis to do a quick fix to hold until it leaks again. New ownership came and it was changed to the felix. They had been doing some updates which included redoing all the toilets in each unit. They were scheduled to be done on a Tuesday between normal business hours, I got home Tuesday to find it was not complete. I had asked when it was to be done and they said they were waiting on a part and it would be done the next day which would be Wednesday. By Friday it was not complete. Due to past issues I had a camera set up in my apartment. Monday, almost a week after it was expected to be done I got a notification that movement was detected, one of the contractors had gone in my apartment and into my bedroom AND my closet! He was in there for about 5 minutes then left, no work was done in my bathroom I sent an email that following Monday to management explaining what had happened and I got no response. Now after a week i came home to them in my apartment AGAIN w/o notice finishing work on my toilet. The list just goes on and on..
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! DO NOT MOVE HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! Maintenance will enter your apartment with no warning. They will move your stuff and not put it back, leave no note they were in there. Has happened multiple times to us and each time we talk to management (when they FINALLY) call back all they will say is sorry we will talk with them... but it continues to happen. We were told when signing lease we could do month to month underground parking... ANOTHER LIE! Go to office to sign up and told with an attitude "it was never like that, and that's one of the reasons the person who told you that (Alex) no longer works here. They DON'T even have a manager of the property. You will have your water shut off AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK. Apartments flood none stop, neighbors say they have black mold in bathroom and maintenance has not addressed in 3 months. Packages delivered will get stolen unless left in parcel pending, but Amazon does not utilize it and just leave packages in a main entrance the general public can be at. I have called multiple times asking for a callback and have only gotten called back twice. Moving here was the biggest mistake we have EVER made. This passed winter our lot was plowed DAYS after massive snowstorms where cars were actually stuck in the middle of the parking lot. Paper thin walls, always shutting off water to "fix" pipes. Management is HORRIBLE AND DO NOT CARE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ONLY MOVING HERE IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTION.
I felt the felix was a perfect fit for me so i emailed them through the apartment guides service. They were very quick to get back to me. In my email through apartment guide i said what i was looking for, they emailed me asking me what i was looking for . . In which i all ready sent to them, but i responded without saying a thing any way. They asked me what is important and what i am looking for, they then responded saying they did not have anything that met what i was looking for. Hmm odd i thought so, but i guess i dont know me.
if I could give The Felix Apartment Homes 0 stars I would. Office staff appears incompetent and does nothing to resolve any issues/concerns you may have. Save yourself time, money, and stress.... rent somewhere else.
