This is one of the worst buildings I have ever lived in. If you ignore the fact that; maintenance doesn't fix anything, the staff doesn't communicate, pick up the phone, or answer any of your questions, the amenities are always broken or "under repair", the doors to the building don't fully lock, the lights on the exits are all out, the deadbolt on your door wiggles, the bug problem that seems to be perennial, or the property manager treating you with extreme disrespect. The building is in a great location. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I genuinely believe that the management team does not care for its residents or the building at all. The numerous excuses and blatant lies we have heard are absurd, just fix your building. This building could be fantastic if the people in charge cared at all. We will not be resigning and hope no one else chooses to sign at all.
Worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Hallways will be dirty for weeks. Someone vomited in the laundry room and it remained there for over 2 weeks.
We have issued a bunch of maintenance requests that have literally been ignored.
Village club of Bloomington is by far the worst apartment complexes I have ever lived in. The only good thing about living here is the location; other than that, the staff and management team does not care at all about your living conditions. My girlfriend and I used to look forward to cooking dinner together, but because our sink has been clogged for over a month, our kitchen has become unusable. We have put in multiple service requests, spoken to many members of the management team and even the maintenance individuals; and still, nothing has been done. I generally don't write reviews, but with as bad of an experience as it has been living here, I feel it is my duty to warn everyone considering this complex. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR LIVING STANDARDS!
Horrible response time on any issue, giant potholes in parking lot that are not being fixed, people throw their trash outside of the garbage can, lots of unsupervised children (often at the pool), hallways are always littered with trash or food. However it is in a great location, has pretty good amenities (when they are actually open and operating) and the residents are all very friendly for the most part.
