The apartments are spacious, well maintained, and safe. The grounds are beautiful, clean, and have great walking paths, picnic spots, and places to relax outside. What really sets The LakeShore apart are the amenities. I enjoy attending the many social programs and fitness classes. The staff are not only friendly and helpful but are also fun and energetic. I have interacted with many staff, and they have all gone above and beyond for me and my roommate. All this for such an affordable cost!
I want to applaud the maintenance and grounds crew. they keep the walk ways and parking areas clear. Even on Sunday morning as I am heading to church early, they have already cleared the path. Thank you. My husband and I are very comfortable here. Everyone we have encountered at the main office have been outstanding in performance and taking care of any requests we may have. We look forward to the next year.
Staff dishonest, unpolite, started out friendly, later when we decided to move out early, they became very rude and not helpful, only to their benefit and taken utility money out of my account twice and when I confronted, they explained, it's already been done so they said can't put my money back or get a refund! If you have a sublet make sure you don't have a sick child who needs help because they won't qualify you if you say that! First, they said one and half months rent, then later says two months rent, and then later two and a half months rent to qualify just because they don't want to take any chances of taking in a sick child! Oh by the way, they give you just one chance to bring a subletter and make the subletter pay $250 for application before they get approved! Later, the subletter didn't get the apartment because she didn't qualify since it's now three months rent now to qualify according to another office staff, So they took her money and that was end of that for her! Later, finding out what had happened, I've called the office and complained, and the manager then says, she would deduct $250 off my rent! I felt so sick to my stomach for their behavior first off! I felt so bad for the lady with the sick child, I was emotional, had tears in my eyes! I met the subletter later that evening and gave her the $250 application fee back! The fact that the subletter had to go through what she went through, I was totally hurt and I just can't imagine how she felt. She was however, so kind and was very optimistic about the whole situation. Hope everything works out for you and your son if you're reading this! I hope you found a nice place and this place wasn't for you in a good way!
Started out good for a year.
Then a new neighbor moved in next to me.
He made lots of noise from 2am till 7am.
I complained to management ---they said they could not help me.
To call the police.....I did and they came out...he didn't stop.
Called the police twice more...they came and talked to him.
He stopped the noise till 4 am. Called apartment patrol... they came...talked to tenant....he still makes loud vibrations at 4am till
7am. I have some health problems and I need interrupted sleep.
ALL I can do now is move. Help.
Complex once had great maintenance service but recently maintenance have come to the apartment to fulfill request but not actually fix the problem. Newer office staff not as friendly and welcoming as older staff. New windows and screens throughout complex but are not sturdy (screens falling apart) or weatherproof (very cold in winter even with heat on especially in bedrooms). Septic system creates disgusting smell in bathroom that has not been rectified by maintenance.
