I've lived here since 2014. The conditions and management were horrible at first. Around 3 months ago, a new manager took over. Things are completely different. Work orders are taken care of extremely quickly (typically same day), the grounds are kept freshly manicured and the laundry rooms are clean and the machines are always working. The new manager brought a completely new office team and maintenance team. It seams to me that she is really big on customer service because EVERYONE is always so nice and helpful. They even had a resident appreciation day this summer. Although I didn't win anything, they raffled off some great prizes including tablets, a tv, and a Keurig coffee machine (which I really wanted lol). I was thinking about moving, but with the changes I've seen in the past couple of months, I'll be staying put for a while!
I've been a resident here for two years. The first the first 19 months were rough. Total garbage actually. But, sometime in February/March there was a complete 180 under new management. I would recommend Country Meadows families and college students alike.
Honestly I couldn't think of a worse place to live for the price. I paid less for a much nicer place in ANN ARBOR last year. Regardless, I have lived here since October and nothing has been nice about it. The laundry facility is so far from your apartment it takes your whole day to do laundry. Neighbors are loud and disrespectful, there is no thermostat and no way to actually control the heat during the winter, the small air conditioner in the unit doesn't cool my entire apartment even on full blast. All of my sinks leak and to top it all off they have falsely accused me of not paying rent more than once, resulting me being stuck in court only to be proven right. Office management is not helpful, and my best advice is to run; unless you are okay with living in awful conditions with unhelpful staff and terrible neighbors.
Also 8 months post living here they STILL owe me money for a money order that they received (and cashed) but took me to court over and forced me to pay to have traced (with the promise of a refund).
Terrible staff, terrible place to live.
have looked at the info that was emailed to me thank you for a rapid reply. have a blessed day
management are not very helpful when trying to resolve issues over the phone. Grounds could use some lawn care and the building entry ways and lighting really needs some fixing and updating!
