Woodcrest Apartments

Dont rent at this apartment. They refused to fix our air conditioning for the entire summer and never returned any of my phone calls or emails and lied to me 4 times about when it would be fixed. Overpriced for an apartment that probably hasnt seen a repair since the 80's

Trying to move in by the end of this month I have been trying to talk to some one for weeks so can some one please get in contact with me

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I wanted to consider living here because of the area. However, the complex was not very well kept. The halls in the model needed some attention so, I can only imagine how the others look. Also, the leasing staff said the pool would not be available at ALL! Dealbreaker #1. Then there was fees monthly called; 'risk' for $10 a month even though I have renter's coverage and, a monthly charge of $19 - $49 with no details as to why plus, an additional $43.25 for the water bill. This made a $890 two bedroom cost $962. This place is not worth it. There are much better places in Westland to pay over $950. And they have working pools!!

I wont say that the apartment isnt a good value for the money however beware of hidden charges: trash, sewage, water, loss mitigation, service fees, at least an extra $45-50 month! Plus, they are not quick to fix anything : roof leaks, broken furnace, intercom and door buzzer!

I am currently looking at this properties have not moved in yet but it looks great!

Current tenant!! For five years plus and after moving in they sent notices out trying to charge for water bill and trash thats not in the lease. Also the cost is too high for the value of the apt. Also they tried to Evict me for no reason an was dismissed twice. The apt is bigger thats the only good thing. No up to date Amenities in the apt. I put work orders in for repairs and it took them weeks to fix.And when they did come and fix it they enter my apartment without permission also empty my refrigerator and left all my food out on the counter. Came home from work to more work. Also said if we dont carry renters Insurance pay them $10 a month thats not in the lease. Still living here til February now I have to worry about what they may say to the next complex I would like to move into cause there sending notice like I owe them money and according to my records I dont owe them anything. $0 dollars thats why they couldnt Evict me cause I had to give them records of payments that they didnt have. Never had a problem til about a year or so ago. The complex is about 3stars unit cause I live with quiet people in my building. Gave sixty day notice an plan to speak with management explaining I plan on applying to other apt so I can move so a false information is not be necessary.
