I enjoyed my stay at Mapletree. The apartments are quite & always clean. No problems with staff or neighbors. I always had a place to park. The landscaping was always kept up. The maintence people was always on time. I had very to little no problems.
This is only my second apartment, but in the 5 months that I have been here there have not been any problems whatsoever. The ladies in the office are incredible, and recognize me every time I walk in. The apartment itself is so spacious for a one bedroom; it's the perfect size for my boyfriend and myself. Also, I never hear any noise from my neighbors when I am in my apartment, which I LOVE. And the location is central to SO many places! I definitely plan to stick around for a while.
DO NOT MOVE HERE.
I wish I could say good things about this place, but there's absolutely nothing. The only good thing they had going was the former management staff, Pam & Bridgette. Now they are under new staff and they are completely rude, dishonest and disrespectful.
The apartment was not move in ready.
-7 power outlets did not work
-the bathroom fan never worked (they never fixed it either)
-the dishwasher and sink leaked when you used it. & I don't mean a couple drops of water, there would be giant puddles across the kitchen. Maintenance came in, looked at it, claimed they fixed it, and still leaked the entire year.
-BEES. EVERYWHERE. We had 30+ bees INSIDE our apartment due to a beehive outside. It was a complete nightmare.
- Trash always overflowed the dumpsters, making the place look like what it truly was, A DUMP.
- Neighbors were an issue. The guy next to us was constantly yelling all day/night. I had several sleepless nights because it was that loud.
-They decided to keep our entire security deposit ($769), and they had the nerve to even send a letter in the mail stating we owe them money because they had to replace the ENTIRE carpet. Lets just make this clear. That carpet was brand new and we only lived there for 1 year. YES there were 2 spots, one in the bedroom and 1 in the living room, BUT it wasn't anything you couldn't get out with carpet cleaner. My BF went to the management office and confronted them and they said they didn't even try to get the stains out because she "knew" they wouldn't come out. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? And she refused to show a copy of the receipt showing they replaced the entire carpet. (My bf even recorded this for proof.) She did show him pics of the stains and they were completely zoomed in to make it seem way worse then what it was. They are thieves and so is the judge that had our case. The judge didn't even care to hear our side, and they actually LIED in court about several things. That was OUR money, not yours.
Rent is too high with not enough amenities. We have no gym. We cant wash our clothes at anytime due to our demanding work schedules and can only put money on the card if the office is open. They need more units where they offer washer and dryers in your own unit.
