Northridge Townhomes and Apartments

Northridge Apartments are one of the best places I have lived in. We moved here 8 months ago, and we absolutely love it here. The people in the leasing office are so efficient, any time we had a problem, it was taken care of within 12 hours. The community itself is kept so neat, after Spring all the leaves were taken care of, and after harsh snow days, they made sure that the snow is all cleared off. The holiday events are soo amazing, the food, the activities, they are all suitable for all ages. And every time we came here we were able to make new friends! And also the contests and the gifts.. it is all very amazing! Also, the leasing office has such amazing cookies all the time available for the residents. If I could, I would live here forever!

These apartments look nice and are fairly spacious. However, the pro's end there. The windows are thin and cold gets in, the walls are thin (always hearing neighbors), and the appliances aren't kept up well. For the price we pay, it's not worth it and next time the lease is up we are moving.

Dirty, poor management, infested with critters.

I like real nice in clean place to stay.

Prices that are on this page are entirely different from what I was told by a property rep they are almost 30 to 40 % higher

I have lived at Northridge Apartments from July 2016 to January 2018. This was my first apartment that I have ever lived in so I do not have much to compare it to. I lived in the smallest one bedroom, 750 square feet unit and it was on the 1st floor. My overall experience has been pretty positive with the community and I guess I'll list my pros and cons below. PROS: my unit was nicely updated with lots of storage space in the kitchen. The unit also had a pretty large storage room inside the apartment which was very convenient for my needs. Northridge Apartments were very family-friendly, they always had events going on for kids and their parents. The grounds were nice and I always enjoyed walking throughout the community in the summer. There's also a lot of empty units which was very nice for a couple months when I didn't have someone above or next to me. The neighbors that I did have were pleasant and pretty quiet. Northridge Apartments is also in a good location and the area is very safe. There are plenty of parks and trails nearby that are walking distance. The lease states that cats must be declawed however Northridge told me that it was fine that my cat still had their claws. I also got my full deposit back within a month of me moving out. CONS: at the end of our lease my partner and I were looking for a two-bedroom apartment. We toured some at Northridge but they were all very very very expensive. That is the main reason why we chose not to stay at this community. I'm guessing this is probably the reason for a lot of empty units throughout the complex. Our unit did not have a washer and dryer in it so we had to use the hallway washer and dryer. It was $3 to wash and dry and the machines did not work that well. For example the dryer did not dry clothes at all. Just a tip, there is a laundromat down the street that is much cheaper. And yes the windows in the units are old and they suck, during the winter we put up plastic to help keep the heat in and it seemed
