I looked for months before the move and am so happy I decided on Huntington House Apartments. The value for the price is amazing. When I talk about what I receive for the money everyone is always jealous. I've been here over 7 months now and have had to call maintenance for a couple routine things such as an out balcony light an exhaust fan that wouldn't come on over the stove. Both problems were solved very quickly. I like the character of most the neighbors and that's important.Office Staff A+
I have lived here for eight years & have enjoyed my stay. Huntington House has provided me with a pleasant safe environment & I hope to stay another eight years.
Horrible place to live, 2 years way too long. bedbugs, roaches, rats, mice you name it, it's there. Read reviews about Huntington House on several sites before you sign that lease... trust me
This place started off great when I moved in three years ago. Since then, it went through 3 management changes. The current manager always acts like I am bugging her when I stop in to ask a question. The hot water or even the water is shut off randomly and a lot of times I never receive any notice. I know it is for plumbing maintenance but it happens a lot. The laundry room needs SERIOUS TLC. The washers aren't reliable. One broke on me once and when I went to let management know they told me that I had to call the Washer and Dryer machine company. I am the one paying rent. I shouldn't have to call on the faulty machines. There's 6 washers and dryers in the laundry room that services the North Building (est. at least 50 units). Currently, there's 3 washers that are working. The other 3 are down. UNACCEPTABLE. I have had maintenance come in here a couple times. One was for a work order to replace my garbage disposal. The other, they asked to come in to get to a pipe to fix a plumbing issue in a different unit. When they left, they left giant nails laying around my kitchen floor. I didn't see them right away but my dog brought them to me. I was SO MAD. He could've swallowed it or choked on it. It could've seriously injure or kill him. This place is just going downhill fast. Like a previous review, there's no dishwasher and no central air. For $620 a month, you could get a better apartment with at least one of those amenities. Think twice before moving in.
I was looking forward to viewing a unit. I emailed and called a few times. The one time someone answered she told me that someone would call me back....which never happened. Im very disappointed.
