I love my apartment and the staff is great. They have always been responsive and the parking lot is kept clear of snow in the winter, even this winter when we had a TON of snow! My only gripe is that I was issued a warning for a noise complaint on a weekend I was out of town. There was no way that it could have been me as I was not even home. Other than that it has been great.

Maintenance is always prompt, the maintenance man and leasing lady are very nice

Problems with apartment have been overlooked. Have had central air problems for last two years, on hot days couldn't even stay in apartment because the air was no strong enough to cool apartment. There is no accountability for people with pets to pick up their waste. Need newer appliances, dishwasher doesn't clean dishes.

Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Lots of bugs when I moved onto my unit. At times the building smells like cigarette smoke.

I rate Briargate average due to a few factors. One is the excessive amount of people coming into the complex to dump outside trash into the dumpsters. The sheer amount of garbage after one day is ridiculous. I have never seen so many old, filthy mattresses, and large pieces of furniture in my life. Second, people slam doors and smokers congregate by the back doors and their smoke blows into our apartment through our windows and sliding door, sometimes waking us at 1:30am with cigarette smoke
