Never met or saw the landlord once, just given a lockbox code and showed ourselves a unit. There was black mold throughout our unit. There was not a single floor, wall, or corner that was straight. The installation of the AC unit and stove was not up to code (wires/pipes hanging out with no grounding and gaping holes in the wall). Our freezer did not work. We put in requests to have these things repaired and never heard back. They had construction crews starting as early as 7am without warning to the residents, blasting music and using power tools. Their crews smoked and littered everywhere. They disabled all the smoke alarms in our building so they could smoke inside while they worked, leaving the batteries on the floor. These alarms went untouched and unfixed for at least 3 months, despite several alerts to management. There were rats in and above our unit. We wanted to move, but needed time, so we asked about a 6 month lease. We were told the rent was increasing and that we would have to pay an extra charge for it being a 6 month lease. We signed the lease they gave us. Our old rent was around $795, the new rent was around $1200. We went to pay the $1200, but the online system asked for $795. We paid $1200 anyhow, just in case, but the following month the excess had been credited to us. We checked the new lease and the rent had not been changed from $795 to $1200. So, because we had legally signed to rent being $795 as before, we continued to pay them that amount. Several months later, we started to receive eviction threats because of our "unpaid" rent. Every time, we told them to refer to the lease they sent us and they had no reply once they saw their mistake. Nonetheless, they continued to threaten us. Then, we had a bedbug infestation and received no help for a week despite many calls. 8 months after moving out, we still have not received our security deposit, and they illegally sent a debt collector after us, even though we owe them nothing, per the lease.

New management has run this place to the dirt. Dont be fooled by the nice band aided outside. The property manager is super nice but the company doesnt care about their people living here. Windows are terrible! The new residents do whatever they want and never clean up after themselves. Dog feces everywhere. Management doesnt say anything. Place could be great if they put the money towards actually fixing the place on the inside. The remodeled places look good at first sight but from what I hear with my new neighbors, its garbage. They raised monthly rent just to make the place appear better but is actually way worse. Do your research people, dont get fooled into a fake nice place with management that acts like they care but really doesnt. You have been warned.
