We went to view Portsmouth about a week ago, we were impressed with the community. But what impressed us most, was Office Staff member ELiesion, sharp, professional, very transparent. She is a rising star. Answered our question honestly and openly . Well water was a deal bearker for us. She is however the reason for the 4 stars

I have to say Im very impressed with the whole process from the time I walked in to get information on Portsmouth apartments to being walked through the application process. There is nothing more annoying than when you dont know what youre doing and the staff has made it very easy.

Giving this apartment community 1 star is too much. The water is an ongoing issue at Portsmouth. I wish I would have looked further into the reviews before moving here. After researching, I discovered that brown water and water shut offs has been a theme for this community since 2014-2015.The water is shut off very frequently. If not once a month then every other month. The property manager compared her a/c issues with her home to the water issues with the apartment community. Correct me if I'm wrong but a/c doesn't make a home uninhabitable. Having no water does. There are multiple notices sent out about the water. Multiple "emergent" water issues. I had an incident where I was in the shower and the water turned brown. The only thing I was offered was an apology. I do not recommend this apartment community to anyone. I'm sure there's some truth to all the negative reviews. I strongly suggest reading the bad reviews to every community before deciding which community to call home.

I lived here at Portsmouth Apartments between July, 2016 to March 2018. I really enjoyed my stay here. Very friendly leasing staff and prompt maintenance. I cannot remember having any complaint during my stay here. They have a nice club house with a swimming pool that is full of life in the summer. I only wish I could have stayed there longer as it was my sweet home for a good 20 months. I wouldn't have left if not for the change in employment. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good place to call home. Quite place for the most part except for the occasional sound cause by movements in the apartment above.
