Ive lived in several apartment communities. This is by far one of the better ones. I have seen many negative reviews. However, that is not how I see it. I dont have any issues with where Im living. I signed a second year lease with no hesitation. Management responds quickly. I like the staff as well (friendly and helpful). How can you complain much when you can go into your own private door; wash inside your unit; not pay heat or water; have packages safely delivered to the office; have accessibility to exercise equipment; and have the lovely view of a pond. Of course it isnt perfect. No place and no one is.... But compared to other places, I love it!!

This place is an absolute dump. Our apartment flooded for the second time three days ago. Flooding was due to be management and property management negligence. We had to move our bed to the living room because the smell of mildew and chemicals was too much. The floor is soaking wet still, we were told that someone might be out Monday to fix it...what a great way to live. Management never returned our phone calls or emails.

Northport Apartments when I have lived here almost 4 years and I have had nothing but positive experiences with the management and the staff here. I have lived within the Edward Rose community for almost 9 years between the Harbours, Portsmouth, and now Northport and by far the best has been here at Northport . I found my carpet in the corner of my 1st floor, one bedroom apartment this past Thursday soaked and when I called the office with the concerns of a water leak, did not think I was going to get it looked at that day. Suprised to answer the door within 10 minutes to hear the worst thing ever as a renter, there is a foundation crack and we are going to have to cut through the wall to see what we ar looking at. Jeff who spent pretty much an entire day busting his ---, found the problem and was dedicated to me as a renter to fix the problem. He did what he could that day and came back today to finish his part before they can patch and paint. Also carpet cleaners came out to treat for mold in the carpet and clean up the water that had ruined the carpet. Working in the customer service industry for 20 years never did I expect the service and care I received in such a professional and timely manner. I would like to give a huge shout out to Jeff and Krystal for your help in a stressful situation. Why would you not want to live in a community where the staff cares about you? Northport is the way to go if you are looking for an Apartment!

After living in our home for 40 years plus, we had to downsize to a smaller place with less annual costs of living and maintenance. We researched over seventy (70) different locations by visitation, internet evaluations and phone contact. Northport was the one that provided the most comfort whether by site location or satisfying simple concerns on our part about moving from our home to another place to live.

Clean and well-kept. Young and friendly staff.
