Apple Ridge offers 22 lush acres of garden style, one and two-bedroom apartment homes. Each apartment home offers a large and open floor plan with plenty of closet space. Apartments include dishwashers & microwaves, ceramic tile in bathrooms, walk-in closets and a private balcony or patio. Apple Ridge also features laundry facilities in every building, controlled access, individual storage space, an outdoor Olympic sized swimming pool, state of the art fitness center and a clubhouse. In-home washers and dryers are available in select units. We also offer upgraded apartment homes that include two-tone paint, brand new upgraded appliances, updated light and faucet packages, wood-like vinyl throughout, and new countertops.

This place is awful! The office staff is rude and incompetent. Of Course the listing says they are under new management but the new management is just as terrible as the old management. The maintenance guys are really nice but they are very limited in what they can do. They really can only do what the office tells them and thats it. There is no controlled entry the gate hasnt worked in decades. There is no 24 hour workout facility. The air conditions are old and barely work enough to cool the living room they have never once come to change the filter or anything.The pool was barely working all last summer. The windows and the patio doors are very very old we have to put plastic on the door and the windows because the draft is so bad.The heat and the air is going out along with your money. We are still getting ice in our window seals but they said the windows were fine. There was a hole in the the brick outside that caused water to leak into our apartment it ruined and molded the carpet and ruined our couch. It took them a month to come and fix it oh and since they took so long to fix that now the wall on the inside of our apartment is literally falling apart and there is a hole in the wall now that is molding. We told them about that in December so we will see how long it takes to for them to fix that. Our tub is literally cracking on the inside and its rusting on the outside. They told us it was fine. We have to give our 3 year old showers we he should be enjoying bathtime. I once called the office to tell them that the dryer was broken in our building and the guy on the phone told me Oh no you have to call the company yourself. Be aware that they only show you what they want you to see the very few apartments that they have renovated. The hallways smell and they barely ever have anyone come and clean them. The hallways are trashed with ripped wallpaper, holes, and they smell really bad. They barely ever have anyone come out and clean them. Don't move here.

This apartment complex does not look like this. They constantly losing employees and then blaming all of the maintenance problems on previous. The buildings are old and are run by boilers with no way of controlling your heat. Only way to cool your apartment off in the summer is with one very old plug in AC. There are entrances for the apartment complex but two of the entrances are chained and locked. Since they are chained off there is no parking for the people that are living in the apartment buildings closest to Merriman. It's difficult to receive UPS and FedEx packages and the office is always closed due to meetings. You are able to access exercise room or put money on your laundry card when the office is closed. The pool was Green for the first month of opening. The place is not I repeat pet friendly. Pets are not allowed in the clubhouse by the pool area not allowed in the laundry area etc. It took five attempts from maintenance to fix my refrigerator and I had to throw out groceries. With no refund of the food I had lost. When I moved out they lied to me on several times regarding my refund of my security deposit. I was told by four people that it had been mailed out to later receive a phone call that they still had it in their office with no one there to sign checks. The new regional manager blamed all the problems on the old management. I did find out that the regional manager was trying to leave me voice messages but was calling the wrong person and addressing me by the wrong person's name and laughed when I corrected him. They will make up any reasons to not refund your money. If you do not clean your carpet before you leave they charge you if you leave anything even if it's a sponge behind you are charged a $75 trash fee. Unprofessional unethical and I would never ever refer anyone to this place

Poor management and maintenance. They promise to fix issues but never fix it. ACs do not work. Property manager is very rude and discriminates. Worst ever living experience for such a high rent.

I love how nice it is here and its so close to everything even the Motor City , the staff if very friendly and helpful , the rent is really reasonable for every thing you get here
