Really. A nice place

I would stay away from this place. It's horrible, dirty, garage leaks all over and some leaks have chlorine in them. The staff don't want you here and their administration pats them on the back for it. I live here now and can't wait to move out!

As Walked in the lobby during the day I had a very uneasy feeling. That has never happened before when I have visited a place. It was rather uncomfortable. Strange, but then a friend told me her daughter's baby daddy stayed there and it was a horrible place to live. I listened to my gut and didn't sign a lease. I'm so glad I didn't because I know I would have broke it.

Lansing Tower was by far the WORSE PLACE I EVER LIVED! My husband and I were promised far more than was delivered, and on top of that there were major issues: constant trash build up in the parking garage, security doors did not work properly allowing homeless people to find areas in the basement and recreation floor to sleep, most of the equipment in the gym didn't work, the running track around the pool was blocked off, the water in our bathroom tub didn't work, our apartment flooded in the winter, the hallways were never vacuumed, and the Manager was VERY RUDE! Each month they changed maintenance so we never got to know who was coming into our place. HATED THIS PLACE!

Floor plans lead one to believe the bedrooms are open space with the living area and there is no laundry facility except on ground level for the entire building. Most of the utilities are paid for, however, which is a real plus.

I have lived here for a few years now, and I have read some of the other reviews. I've seen that the "pool is dirty" and the "work out room equipment is broken" to the "water is being shut off." The pool has been maintained during the pool season at least since 2020-2021 since I've been here. My fiance was just recently down using the treadmills with our daughter. They have recently bought new equipment like a resistance machine that does all sorts of muscles from shoulders, back, biceps, and more. I saw some comments about the water being shut off all the time. Well, things happen with almost 100 apartments in one building with stacks of apartments on top of one another and sharing pipes. The building is over 50 years old, I believe. Close enough. So when sharing pipes, you have to be responsible with what you put down the drain for one. And hope others are as well. Keep grease in jars, no bones in the disposal, no egg shells, no chuncks of fat, nothing that would clog up a hole in other words, or possibly seal a portion of it up. I know lansing has other apartments that doesn't have management like Lansing Towers has. This place is shutting water off to do a job. One that if they didn't, you'd be complaining a lot longer to wonder why they aren't fixing the issues. They are constantly fixing water problems, which isn't a bad thing. How someone can view it that way is weird to me. I am a tenant, not related, not hanging out with them, but have met them, and they are great people, too. Just as you want for such a place. The current manager is very good at keep residents informed about things like water shut offs so you can prepare for such things. And to add to that, they usually aren't taking all day to fix most of the problems. Usually, depending on the severity, it's only a couple of hours and usually during the morning times that the majority of ppl are at work or not up if you work a different shift. It's honestly the best timing you can pick out of the whole day, but it may interfere with someone's day if they don't prepare for it. I keep a water jug or two handy for cooking, and that's it. Lastly, on the negative comments, they try to keep all doors closed and locked, I close them when I see them proped open, and they fix doors that have been destroyed by others. I've personally seen footprints of ppl kicking doors. Things only stay good when treated with respect. But management will fix problems that they have control over. The lansing police department is only but a few blocks away as well, along with the fire department. If you are looking for a wonderful place with spacious bedrooms, living room, with entire walls of windows for a great view [upper floors], then lansing towers is a wonderful place to live. I've had an overall great experience here. And the recently put in a whole new set of washers and dryers!

This place is awesome. Rented for a year about 10 years ago. Had a door man and pool. Super affordable.

Loved living here while I was a student at LCC last year. Had a lot of good times here, neighbors and office staff are all great.

Iv been living here now for about 5yrs now, grate staff, Affordable Prices and you can't forget about the Views!
