900 West Townhomes

Beautiful units but no basements (which is weird for a townhouse), which was a dealbreaker for us. Leasing staff is really nice.

Overall the apartment complex is clean and the maintenance team shows up when requested. Now the reason for the rating. As soon as we moved in, rodents were spotted. Every night they were running around and my family, specially ladies were having hard time going to sleep. Every time we reported this issue, they just sent someone with a mouse trap, which actually never worked. Then my dad located a hole in the wall that could be where the rates were entering from. Apartment complex should've thoroughly inspected this apartment before handing it over for rent, which they clearly didn't. They finally filled that hole after we pointed that out. We thought that the issue is resolved now but we were totally wrong. We again found some rodent activity. Maintenance again came and brought more mouse traps, which clearly wasn't working. My family members spotted Moles at night that were too big to fit in any of the mouse traps. Apartments are old and there are most likely many hidden places where mouse can enter the house. Again, this should've been inspected before our move in. Tired of asking again and again to the office for almost a year and having trouble sleeping at night, my dad was advised by the manager Violet to write a letter/ application for early lease termination as they could clearly couldn't fix the issue and living here was a total nightmare. My dad had told her almost month and a half before the move out when we're moving out as we had to find another residence in these dates. She just told him to write a letter and she'll take care and talk to the management. Although we moved out at Violet's advise and her acceptance that they couldn't fix the rodent issue, we received a letter from a recovery company that showed that we actually owe these guys some money. They forfeit the monthly deposit, they added a '$150 improper notice fee' the concession that they had initially granted ($250), all because of early termination!!!

We are in a crunch to move. We are having methane gas that can come up into the house that we are currently renting. The landlord isn't able to take care of the matter so we have to move. And we just love our landlord she's a real terrific lady.

Very unprofessional approach. I knocked on the door as instructed with a mask on. A tall male open the door and asked me what do you want. I asked about the openings and a lady closed the door and handed me a pamphlet. Instructed me to text another person to see the rentals. The approach in all was very unprofessional. (Ghetto)

My family and I lived at 900 West before we moved to CA. We loved the community as well as the office staff and will really miss it! I would highly recommend this community to all. You can tell that they care about us and are not like the other apartments on the street. Maintenance is fast and my kids loved the people.

Lived here from 2011-2015 and had no issues. We purchased a house because we were expanding our family and needed more space. The staff was good. Maintenance was fast and we loved the location. The area can be a little noisy but the community itself is great!
