Muirwood Apartments

Muirwood is a beautiful community. Very safe, and well maintained. Even being one of the largest communities in the state, they are still in my to 5 best communities I've ever stayed at personally. Obviously they've been doing something right! Very helpful and prompt office and leasing staff, very knowledgeable and capable maintenance. Overall a 5/5 in my book.

This place has a real community feel. The grounds are kept very well. I can tell that money has been spent to protect and provide safety for the tenants here.

I will not encourage to rent an apartment in this community. Sloppy maintenance service, very bad attitude of dealing with existing residents, no concern for residents staying in their facility, zero response to every call you make to the leasing office, rude notifications of any upcoming maintenance work, and basically making residents feel sorry for renting apartments in this community after facing all the mistreatment. I was supposed to be refunded for the fee I paid for a second gate badge at the time of my move out. I had purchased the second badge thinking I had misplaced the original one, but when I found the original one and returned both the badges on the moveout date, no one in the leasing office cared to document all of this and as I was expecting, in the final check we received with the remainder amount from the security deposit, the fee for the second badge was not refunded. And now as I stay my ground on this, I am being told by the property manager that no fee is there to be refunded. Of course, they didn't collect any notes to record the receipt of the two badges. So why will their record indicate now that they owe us a refund? I had to live with a leaking bathroom sink for 2 months! Reason - repair can't be completed because the part that needs to be replaced isn't available and needs to be ordered. No buzzer at the main entrance of my building. So each time my guests would come, I would have to ask them to call me on my phone once they arrive so that I can rush down the stairs to open the main door for them. I have had cold winter nights in which I had to rush down more than 5 times or so to open the main door for my guests. The maintenance/service team didn't event know that my building doesn't have a buzzer at the main door until I complained. Terribly disappointed in how residents are being treated by the management.

This place is the worst when it comes to service. My AC went out 4 times in 5 weeks. They treat the residents like toilet paper and resident work order system means nothing. Never recommend this place.

They don't come and fix things with any urgency. I've had to fix my own toilet. Lie and say things were leaking to get someone to come out. I have floor tiles in the bathroom coming up and no one fixes anything. The indoor pool is green instead of blue. Its 95 degrees on June 14th and the outdoor pool still is not open. The indoor jacuzzi is just stagnant water the jets don't work. The sauna does not work. Are you seeing were I'm going with this. They expect rent ontime and have no problem cutting off your online access if your late but they can not fix a single thing

I always read the reviews on anything I am considering dipping into my pockets for. These reviews that your company respond too I notice no resolution was settle, only apologies which is NOT a resolution. Customer service is KEY and empathy is expected being we all are evolving around this pandemic and are very sensitive. Hold your employees accountable.
