Muirwood Apartments

Muirwood is a beautiful community. Very safe, and well maintained. Even being one of the largest communities in the state, they are still in my to 5 best communities I've ever stayed at personally. Obviously they've been doing something right! Very helpful and prompt office and leasing staff, very knowledgeable and capable maintenance. Overall a 5/5 in my book.

This place has a real community feel. The grounds are kept very well. I can tell that money has been spent to protect and provide safety for the tenants here.

Beware of Muirwood Apartments - they're a financial trap disguised as a clean, welcoming community. Don't be fooled by their initial charm and affordable first-year rates. Once you're locked in, expect relentless rent hikes, regardless of your perfect payment history or lack of complaints. Forget about seeing your deposit again. They demand you leave the place cleaner than you found it, nitpicking everything from the stove's interior to their impractical cream carpets. They'll nickel-and-dime you for every imagined imperfection. The move-out process is a nightmare of misinformation and shifting goalposts. I paid my last month's rent in full, only to be blindsided with additional charges. They can't even keep their own billing straight - sending incorrect bills, then 'correcting' them with even higher amounts. Bottom line: Muirwood Apartments is out to squeeze every cent from your wallet. Your deposit? Consider it gone the moment you sign the lease. Save yourself the headache and financial drain - steer clear of this money pit masquerading as a residential community."

Prices to high for the economy. I would love to move there but the prices are so high with nothing included

I will not encourage to rent an apartment in this community. Sloppy maintenance service, very bad attitude of dealing with existing residents, no concern for residents staying in their facility, zero response to every call you make to the leasing office, rude notifications of any upcoming maintenance work, and basically making residents feel sorry for renting apartments in this community after facing all the mistreatment. I was supposed to be refunded for the fee I paid for a second gate badge at the time of my move out. I had purchased the second badge thinking I had misplaced the original one, but when I found the original one and returned both the badges on the moveout date, no one in the leasing office cared to document all of this and as I was expecting, in the final check we received with the remainder amount from the security deposit, the fee for the second badge was not refunded. And now as I stay my ground on this, I am being told by the property manager that no fee is there to be refunded. Of course, they didn't collect any notes to record the receipt of the two badges. So why will their record indicate now that they owe us a refund? I had to live with a leaking bathroom sink for 2 months! Reason - repair can't be completed because the part that needs to be replaced isn't available and needs to be ordered. No buzzer at the main entrance of my building. So each time my guests would come, I would have to ask them to call me on my phone once they arrive so that I can rush down the stairs to open the main door for them. I have had cold winter nights in which I had to rush down more than 5 times or so to open the main door for my guests. The maintenance/service team didn't event know that my building doesn't have a buzzer at the main door until I complained. Terribly disappointed in how residents are being treated by the management.

This place is the worst when it comes to service. My AC went out 4 times in 5 weeks. They treat the residents like toilet paper and resident work order system means nothing. Never recommend this place.
